zero calls, RLC Throughput Per Cell, PDCH Congestion, TBF Setup Success Rate, TBF Drop Rate for
morning & evening busy hours, Daily average values, and hourly trends
Perform in-depth analysis of KPIs, recommend Soft Parameter and Antenna Optimization to improve KPIs
Perform daily Worst Cells Analysis of major RF KPIs and take rectification steps to improve KPI
Performance
Daily scanning of hardware issues like sector swap, path balance, radio replacement and escalation to
FOPS with strong follow up
Daily monitoring of RSL [Site level] and C-7, CIC MHT, and ATER outages and escalation to FOPS
Generate weekly SDCCH blocking & TCH Blocking report and generate the worst cells having high SDCCH
blocking due to SDCCH MHT, high traffic causing TCH and SDCCH blocking, hardware issue on SDCCH,
hardware issue on traffic channel, SDCCH expansion possible and required, TRX expansion required for
SDCCH.
Perform Cluster Level Optimization and drive testing to ensure high quality voice & data services
Perform weekly Drive Test of every BSC in Long Call, Short Call, and Scan mode to check the Retain-ability,
and connectivity and later on DT analysis and the recommendations to solve the QOS issues.
Generate DT Summary after the DTs based on Call-Attempts, Calls Connected, Calls-Dropped, No-Audios
and Cross-Talks.
Weekly data base audit to remove parameter discrepancies. This also includes Out-of-Band ARFCNs:
Weekly Check for any out-of-band ARFCNs assigned in both GSM-900 and DCS-1800 bands. [This is
important for new upcoming sites]
Monitoring of Processor utilization of assigned BSCs on daily basis. Trunk utilization (Ater Utilization) of ever
BSC on weekly basis
Perform LAC Optimization and Paging Per Second analysis & Recommendations
Identify and resolve issues related with new sites [Frequency Plan, Neighboring planning, redesign of old
cluster] upon encountering.
Perform Site database audit and update on weekly basis.
Daily monitoring of Cells having high IBI/IOIM due to external interference (Jammers, Point-to-Point Systems
etc), Performing spectrum analysis and testing, and then proper escalation to regulatory department.
Monitor and control Pre/Post Site re-homing, BSC cutover, BSC migration activities
Optimize MSC/LAC Boundaries in coordination with BSS Planning, NSS, and OMC teams
Perform event analysis like EID festivals, Cultural Festivals, Special Commercial Packages
Responsible for Level 3 complaints handling
Prepare nominal plans based on coverage and capacity requirements & keeping commercial and sales in
confidence.
To ensure that Network RAN KPIs based on BSS, NSS, Drive Test are within the defined target range.
Improve coverage by deployment of high power TRX and TMA for boosting downlink / uplink signal strength.
