One beam source and a machine
thats the best for every
thats something that wont be
achieved in the foreseeable future.
The demands found in machining are
simply too varied.
We are the specialists
for thick sheet metal.
The most important
requirement:
exibility. Our
jobs are many
and varied.
We cut 80 percent
of our parts
from thin sheet
metal, where
high dynamics are
of the essence.

It was something like love
at rst sight. The
TruLaser 1030 provides
a good price to performance
ratio, doesnt take up a
lot of oor space, and is easy
to use. Running it isnt
really much more difcult
than using a coffeemaker.
After just three days
of training we were able
to embark on the full range
of laser operations.
Superb dynamics, simple to
operate or small in size?
Whether you function as
a job shop, a product
manu facturer, a sheet metal
specialist, or a producer of
long production runs:
In the TruLaser 1000 to
8000 Series you are sure to
nd the perfect machine
for the tasks at hand. The
customers featured here have
found the right product and
tell you why theyre so pleased.

We made our debut in
laser machining with the
TruLaser 3030 and were
able to offer our customers
parts in superb quality,
from the rst day onward.
The technical innovations
in the system and its
convenience in use are
unbeatable. Even when
working near the practical
limits of materials thickness,
the machine always produces
good results. Its a high-
performance universal
machine and lends us an
advantageous degree
of exibility.
Our customers orders
are more diverse than
ever before. Therefore, we
need the TruLaser 1030
ber to augment our
existing equipment.
The ability to cut copper
and brass opens up
new markets for us, and
we can reduce overall
costs. We prot in
many ways from
the advantages of this
affordable system.

The new TruLaser 3030 ber
proves its worth in mild steel
and in thin sheet metal up
to four millimeters thick. Using
this machine to cut aluminum
two millimeters thick, for in-
stance, we are thirty percent
faster than before. This has al-
ready landed new orders for us.
In the future we want to expand
our performance range by in-
cluding parts made of compos-
ite materials and of nonferrous
metals such as copper and
brass. That makes our re-
sponse as a job shop even more
exible.

We cut batches of up
to 30,000 parts on our
seven TruLaser 7040
machines. The dual-
head concept makes
these machines
incredibly productive.
The two cutting heads
also pro vide for high
dynamics and great
precision. This is
how we achieve ideal
reproducibility while
making the parts.
From the very outset we
banked on productive, high-
performance machines. In the
nal analysis we, operating
purely as a job shop, must
be able to deliver the broadest
possible spectrum of parts.
We never refuse an order. We
have a TruLaser 5030 and
two TruLaser 5040 units, and
these three machines in
the TruLaser 5000 Series
give us the exibility and
performance we need.
The TruLaser 5040 ber
offers the most
economical solution for
highly efcient thin
sheet metal processing.
In gauges up to ve
millimeters it takes full
advantage of the
high feed rates of the
energy-efcient TruDisk
solid-state laser.
That lets us cut a wide
variety of materials.
Being that exible is of
particular importance
for a supplier like us.

For us, the TruLaser 7025
ber is an investment in our
future. We will be using
it primarily to cut our
hedge trimmer blades,
made from tempered spring
steel, 1.2 to 2.2 millimeters
thick. The two cutting heads
make this machine dynamic,
productive and in fact
unbeatable in these gauges.
That makes us exible in
mass production and, over
the near future, we will
become more interesting
to potential customers as
a job shop as well.

Working for the automotive,

mechanical engineering
sectors, we machine parts
made of ne-grain mild
steel up to twelve meters
in length and ten
millimeters thick. Our new
TruLaser 8000 can easily
handle such large
dimensions. It also helps
us to cut small and
medium production runs
more efciently.
The system is highly
dynamic, as well.
With it we can produce
oversize parts even
more quickly and with
greater exibility.

Universal
Machinery using a CO laser has proven its value over
time. Te laser works its way, unfazed, through virtual-
ly impassible territory. Tick materials and fuctuating
quality levels are no problem with up to eight kilowatts
of laser power. It also scores points especially when
working numerous jobs and producing small batches.
Te CO laser can cut sheet metal from 0.5 to 50 milli-
meters thick both rapidly and ef ciently. It is convinc-
ing especially when fusion cutting both thin and thick
materials, and achieves superb quality on the cutting
face. Te CO laser works at a wavelength of about ten
microns. Tat is particularly advantageous when ma-
chining thick sheet metal.
Speedy
Te solid-state laser feels right at home when working mild steel, non-
ferrous sheet and thin sheet metal. In these applications it can break every
speed record. Its one micron wavelength is great for working thin sheet
metal. Tis high-frequency beam is better absorbed, achieving greater
ef ciency in this application range. Cutting through materials up to about
four millimeters thick is an excellent chance to show its strength. Te
solid- state laser can also take on thicker mild steel. In non-ferrous metals
like copper and brass, it is defnitely a cut above the rest. Tese metals can
be separated cleanly only with this short wavelength. Te solid-state laser
especially maximizes its strengths in speed and energy-ef ciency when it
is used in a laser network. Integrated into such a system, it can supply laser
light alternately to two machines. It might, for instance, serve a punch-laser
combination machine and a laser welding cell.
Which kind of laser should it be?
The exible and universal or the high-speed specialist?
A strong pair
