1. Welcome to Adore Softphone

1.1 - Adore Softphone for Symbian
AdoreSoftphone for Symbi an i s Softpho ne that allo ws you to speak over Internet with
AdoreSoftphone for S ymbian to any co nventional landl ine and mo bile phones . It s upports SIP
industry stan dards, an d is fu lly in ter-operable w ith most major In ternet Telephone serv ice
provider (ITSP) and VOIP software and hardware. Adore Softphone can be easily customized with
Company logo. Its designed with SIP technology that can be used to make outbound phone calls
to any telephone.

2. Installations and Setup

2.1 Account Information

After choosing a VoIP service provider, you will need the following information

SIP IP/Domain
User name
Password

2.2 System Requirements

OS Supported : Symbian S60(3rd edition & 5th Edition)

Internet Connectivity: Wi-Fi/GPRS/EDGE/3G

2.3. Install Application

Please follow any one of the process (2.3.1 or 2.3.2) to download

2.3.1- Process to download & Install in Symbian Device

Download ss.sis on your Symbian Device

Open Web Browser (e.g.-Internet Explorer, Opera) in your device

Enter URL Address: e.g. www.sipsoftphone.co.in/ss.sis as shown in Fig.1.1
(Similar type of URL will be provided by us)

After downloading ss.sis file automatically save in below path-
In Home Page (Main Screen) click on menu office file Manager

Note- if the below process is not found in your device please locate ss.sis file in some folder (like
downloadable or other folder) in side the file manager.

Now ss.sis file has been installed in your Symbian Device. To locate installed sis file
Follow from Fig. 1.15 to Fig.1.17

Go to main screen of your Device and Press Menu its display Fig.-1.15, Locate
Installation and Select, its display Fig.-1.16. Here you find the installed Mobile
Softphone

2.3.2- Process to download in PC & Install in Symbian Device

Step. 1
Download ss.sis on your desktop from below url- www.sipsoftphone.co.in/ss.sis

Simply download the ss.sis file to your Desktop,
As shown in Fig.-2

Step. 2
Moving the ss.sis file to Your Symbian Device
The file ss.sis is located on our desktop.
Note: If youre PC have not Install Nokia PC Suit
Then Download Nokia PC Suite and Install on Windows PC
To begin, connect the Device to your Windows PC using a USB cable or cradle.
Allow the synchronization process to complete. Inside Nokia PC Suit, click
the File Explore button as shown in Fig.-2.1

The File Explore feature of PC Suit is very useful; it provides access to the files
stored on your PC to Symbian Device.
Explore the location (Memory Card or Phone Memory) where you want to Store the ss.sis file
[We recommend to select Phone Memory]

Select Phone Memory > DATA > Others
Left-click on the ss.sis files and drags it to the Mobile Device screen
As shown in Fig.-2.2

The file has now been transferred to the mobile device.

Step. 3:
Install the Adore Mobile Softphone in the Device
Now that the ss.sis file has been copied to your Symbian device, we're ready to install the program
in the device.
To locate the transferred file go your device Menu> Office > File Mgr. and Select Others Folder.

You can see the file you transferred in the Others folder. When you find it, Click the
Option Button display right bottom of screen and Select Open, ss.sis file
will begin the installation process. Follow the instructions on screen,
as shown in Fig. - 2.9 to 2.12

ss.sis has now been installed with name MobileSoftphone and is ready to use, To locate
MobileSoftphone - Go to Menu > Installations ; as shown in above Fig.2.12

3 - Uninstall Mobile Softphone from Nokia device
To uninstall MobileSoftphone from your Nokia Device, Select the Mobile Softphone & Press
Option > Remove. Its automatically Remove the Application As shown in Fig.-3.1 to 3.2

4 - Start & Using Adore Softphone

To Open MobileSoftphone - Go to Menu > Installations/Apps > Select MobileSoftphone as
shown in Fig.-4.1

Now click Option and select Open from menu. As shown in Fig.-4.2

Now It Asking for Access Point / Connection For access Internet Connection, Select your
Preferred Access Point from the Menu and Press Select as shown in Fig.-4.3

After Selecting Access Point its Display Message Create WLAN Connection in offline mode?
Press Yes. As shown in Fig.-4.4

Its Create Internet connection and display Login Window.

4.1 Register AdoreSoftphone

1. Login Interface appears
2. Option > Select Change
3. Enter SIP, Username and password.
Press Done Button on screen (Fig.-4.11)

Note1: If SIP is hardcoded / Locked in the Mobile Softphone, user needs to enter only
User Name and Password
Note 2: Its automatically Save Login information

Enter SIP information and Press OK as shown in Fig.-4.5 & 4.6

After Entering SIP,UserName & Password Press Done Button (Fig.-4.11) to Login

4.2 Placing a Call
To make call
1. Press desired number through Dial Pad
2. Press Call button
When Call is in progress its display Calling as Shown in Fig.-4.13
When Call is Connected its display Connected as Shown in Fig.-4.14

4.3 Ending a Call
Press HangUp button (Fig.-4.13) to ending a call.
Its display Last Call duration, As Shown in Fig.-4.14

4.4 Handling an Incoming Call
On incoming call message display Incoming call from (As shown in Fig.-4.15)
Press Yes button to Accept Call or Press NO to Reject Call

5. Using Recent Call
By using recent call you can get your call history of last dialed number with call duration.
Go to Option and Select Call Log as shown in Fig.-5.1 & 5.2

6. Using PhoneBook
By using Phone Book you can get youre all Device Contact List, Select Contact Name to Call.
Go to Option and Select Phone Book As shown in Fig.-6.1 & 6.2. By using Search option
You can search your desire Contact Name from your contact list and select the name you
Wish to call.

7. Exit AdoreSoftphone

To Quit Mobile Softphone click Option and Select Exit As shown in Fig.-7
