Difference between 8085 and 8086 microprocessor?

These 2 processors used in old time. I want to know its program execution time, memory
space.
8085 is a 8 bit microprocessor n it is 2nd generation microprocessor and it is manufactured
by NMOS technology but 8086 is a 16 bit microprocessor,3rd generation microprocessor and
manufactured by HMOS technology.

8085 is a 8 bit microprocessor which have 16 address line while 8086 is a 16 bit
microprocessor which have 20 address line.
save time of the execution.
8085 microprocessor does not contain inbuilt memory, ADC, DAC whereas 8086
microprocessor contains those additional features and hence we don't need to include
external memory and thus the circuit becomes compact

What is the use of filter?
To remove the unwanted signals

3 phase AC supply

Why 440volts instead of 660volts in 3 phases of supply system?

440 volts instead of 660 volts in 3 phase is because of 1 phase is always zero at any instant
of time therefore we cant use 660 volts in 3 phase

440v is the line to line voltage, there is 230v for phase to neutral. So both 230, 440 volts is
common operating voltage recommended by Indian standard rules. If our application
required 660 volts, Just we step up the voltage by suitable step up transformer.
In single phase supply, 220V is voltage diff. between Line & neutral while, In 3 phase supply
there are 3 supply lines phase shifted at 120deg from each other, so net voltage diff. (the
phase resultant) between two phases in accordance with phase angle of 120deg is 440V.

However in 3 phase, 4 line systems having 1 neutral also, the voltage diff. between neutral
and any of the phase is 220V...
In case of 1Ph supply voltage is measured in between Phase and neutral, but where as in
the case of 3Ph supply it is been measured in between two phases of line which differ each
other by an phase difference of 120 degrees. So resulting net voltage between two lines
which differ each other by a phase difference of 120 degrees always hovers around 440V

What is meant by filter? What are the different types of filters?
The output of the rectifier pulsating in nature, it consists of a desired DC component of
voltage and unwanted ripple components. These ripple components are removed by placing
filter circuit at the output of the rectifier.

Types of filters:
1. capacitor filter
2. series inductor filter
3. LC filters of following two types
(a)capacitance input filter
(b)inductance unput filter
4.RC filters.

Filters are the components of a circuit which remove distortion or ripples.Types of filters : 1. High
pass filters 2. Low pass filters 3. Band pass filters
Filters are used to remove the unwanted or undesirable components of a output
waveform, so the basic work of filters is to smoothen the output. From electrical devices we
are not getting perfect sinusoidal output, it contains a DC component i.e.
ripples, harmonic distortions etc. so filters are used to rectify these
components.
An electrical circuit which is used to remove unwanted signals from the output of a system is
called a filter. Filters can be classified into many types based on how they are built, the
purpose they serve, the range of filtering etc.Typically, they are classified as 1) Low Pass
filters(allows frequencies upto a cut-off freq)2) High Pass filters(allows frequencies above a
cut-off freq)3) Band Pass filters(allows input frequencies in a specified range)4) Band Reject
filters(rejects frequencies in a specified range)
The o/p of the rectifier ckt is not pure dc its pulsating in nature to make the o/p pure dc
smooth dc the filter circuit is connected to the o/p of rectifier
Not only in the rectifier ckt but where ever we want to remove unwanted signal from the
band filters a used accordingly. The types of filters are RC,LC,CAPACITOR,SERIES
INDUCTOR ETC on the basis of choosing desired signal band pass and band reject filters are
used they are low band pass filter, high band pass filters etc

Why the antenna is called passive element?

Because It needs Some power input to broadcast or receive signals
It is called a passive element because it does not generate any power on its own,it radiates
the input power for transmission of signals
In passive element consume energy is always greater than or equal to zero . in antenna all
element are resistor(wire)and it consume energy.while active device produce absolute gain
while antenna gain is relative gain so it easy that it is passive element
differences between microprocessor and micro controller

In Microprocessor more op-codes, few bit handling instructions. But in Microcontroller: fewer
op-codes, more bit handling Instructions, and also it is defined as a device that includes
micro processor, memory, & input / output signal lines on a single chip.
The basic Differnce is that a micro controller has got an inbuilt memory and ports where as
micro processor needs memory to be interfaced with.
Hi The difference between microprocessor and microcontroller is the processor
which can perform only software like operations it cannot control any parameters.hence the
microcontroller will do that job. In computers we are using the microprocessor
and in industrial controls we are using microcontroller.
The microprocessor is the integration of a number of useful functions into a single IC
package. These functions are: The ability to execute a stored set of instructions to carry out
user defined tasks. The ability to be able to access external memory chips to both read and
write data from and to the memory. Basically, a microcontroller is a device which integrates
a number of the components of a microprocessor system onto a single microchip. So a
microcontroller combines onto the same microchip : The CPU core Memory (both ROM and
RAM) Some parallel digital I/O Essentially, a microcontroller is obtained by integrating the
key components of microprocessor,RAM, ROM, and Digital I/O onto the same chip die.
Modern microcontrollers also contain a wealth of other modules such as Serial I/O, Timers,
and Analogue to Digital Converters.
The basic difference is that microcontoller contains internal memory facilities such as ROM &
RAM whereas in microprocessor we do not have such fadvantage. In microcontroller we have
many bit habdling instructions but in microprocessor we onlu one or two.
Microcontollers are application specific, while microprocessor is a multipurpose device which
needs memory and i/o devices to be interfaced with.up+i/o devices+ memory= uc
Microprocessor is an ic chip in a micro controller which performs various logical operations.
micro controller is a device which contains microprocessor, input output
ports,counters,timers etc...
