Know which campuses to visit and allow for travel time between them We have shown which subject areas are based on each of our campuses Highfeld Campus, Avenue Campus and the National Oceanography Centre Southampton. Details of our shuttle bus routes are also included. Stop for a break A wide variety of restaurants and cafs will be open at various times between 08:00 and 18:00. Details can be found on the event signage on Highfeld Campus. Cafs at Avenue Campus and the National Oceanography Centre Southampton will also be open throughout the day. Help is always on hand If you are not sure how to get the most from your day after reading this guide make your way to Building 40 on Highfeld Campus where staf and students are on hand to assist you. There are also information tents across campus, where students can help point you in the right direction. Student ambassadors are also located at Avenue Campus and the National Oceanography Centre Southampton. We ensure that you have all the information you need for your Open Day. For visitors with disabilities, a limited number of wheelchairs are available from the Welcome Desk located in Building 40. The safety of our visitors is of paramount importance, therefore unless you are accompanied by a member of staf, please do not enter any areas except general thoroughfares. If a fre alarm sounds, please vacate the building by the nearest safest exit. A member of staf will direct you to the assembly point.
