Show customers how quick-release seats work by walking
them through the following steps:
Lift the left- and right-hand seat latch handles and
rotate them rearward
Lift the left- and right-hand latch rod hook ends out of the locking
holes in the front strikers
Move the seat rearward
Lift the rear hooks away from the rear strikers, then lift the front
hooks out from the front strikers
Remove the seat
When replacing the seat, align front hooks with front strikers, then
rear hooks with rear strikers
Insert the left- and right-hand latch rod hook ends in front striker
locking holes
Rotate both latch handles forward while sliding the seat forward to
engage the strikers. Slide the seat as far forward as it will go
Reattach safety belt into anchor until you hear a click, making
sure belt is not twisted
Be sure to tell your customers that the seat assembly must always be
securely latched to the floor when the vehicle is in motion.

Four-wheel Anti-lock
Braking System (ABS)
Four-wheel Anti-lock Braking Systems are designed
to eliminate wheel lockup in many severe braking
situations, under a variety of weather conditions
When impending wheel lockup is detected, the
system automatically "pumps" the brakes on the
locking wheel(s) up to 15 times per second,
preventing the wheel or wheels from locking and
giving the tires added traction for steering and
slowing the vehicle
The action of the electric pump can be heard as a
rapid "clicking" sound, and a faint pulse can often
be felt through the brake pedal. This is normal and
indicates that the system is operating as intended
If space is available, demonstrate ABS in your parking lot
or on an empty stretch of roadway. Apply the brakes quickly
and have the customer listen for unfamiliar sounds associated with
ABS. Then have the customer test the ABS to become familiar with
the normal brake pedal pulsation.
