Dear Mrs, Phillips:
\
In your recent Historicalog I was interested to read that
you were mentioned in "Who*s Who of American Women, " I am
also mentioned in this Volume, I was also mentioned in the 1961
Volume of "Who^s Who of American Education, "
Thought you might like to include this in your next Histori
calog since I am a native of Waynesville. Warren County, My
mother*s and father*s families were among the first settlers in
Warren County, The names were besides McKinsey, Nedry,
Wright, and Wilgus,
Perhaps you would like to know that it was because of
your active Historical Society of Warren County that I reactivated ^
the Ashtabula County Historical Society in 1951, We started with
11 members and now we have over 800 members, This#I am very
proud to announce.
Always read your Historicalog and the Western Star news
with interest as well as a bit of nostalgia.
