IMPORTANT WEATHER-RELATED INFORMATION

FOR SOUTH WESTERN SCHOOL DISTRICT

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Due to weather conditions and reasons for early dismissals, it is important you discuss with your child how he/she is to leave the school
on an early dismissal day. In order to avoid an emotionally stressful time for students, I am asking for your cooperation. Please complete
the information listed below, detach and return to your childs teacher immediately.

YMCA AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM For students who are registered with the YMCA After School Program, it is important to note
that the YMCA After-School Care Program held at West Manheim will be held on pre-arranged early dismissal days. However, the
YMCA After-School Care Program is cancelled on an early dismissal day due to inclement weather. Therefore, parents are
responsible for arranging alternate childcare on inclement weather days.

SCHOOL CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENTS - The following radio stations, television stations and website will be utilized to announce
school closings for SOUTH WESTERN SCHOOL DISTRICT in addition to calls to you from School Messenger:
