ABSTRAK

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membantu murid menyelesaikan operasi bahagi melibatkan
sebarang nombor sehingga lima digit dengan nombor dua digit melalui kaedah Tetulang.
Operasi bahagi adalah operasi songsang kepada pendaraban. Jadi penting kepada murid
untuk menguasai sifir terlebih dahulu. Kaedah ini merupakan satu kaedah untuk
menghasilkan senarai sifir bagi nombor dua digit. Tinjauan awal mendapati murid sering
melakukan kesalahan akibat cuai semasa menghasilkan senarai sifir nombor dua digit melalui
kaedah konvensional iaitu penambahan berulang. Kesalahan semasa penambahan berulang
mempengaruhi jawapan bagi operasi bahagi. Responden kajian ini terdiri daripada 9 orang
murid Tahun 5 di sebuah sekolah di Seberang Perai, Pulau Pinang. Responden sering
melakukan kesalahan iaitu cuai semasa membuat penambahan berulang. Data dikumpulkan
melalui ujian pra dan ujian pos, analisis lembaran kerja, temu bual, pemerhatian dan soal
selidik. Hasil analisis data ujian pra dan pos menunjukkan kesemua murid mengalami
peningkatan markah. Selain itu, hasil dapatan daripada temubual, soal selidik dan
pemerhatian menunjukkan peningkatan minat murid dalam operasi bahagi.















ABSTRACT


This action research aims is to help students to solve division operation involving any
number up to five digits with two-digit numbers by using Tetulang Method. Division
operation is the inverse operation of multiplication. So, it is important for students to
master the multiplication first. This method is used to generate a list of tables for two-digit
numbers. Initial survey found that students often make careless errors to generate a list of
tables, two-digits number through the conventional method which is repeated addition.
Error and negligence during the process of repeated addition influence the answer for
divison operation. Respondents in this study consisted of 9 pupils in Year 5 at a school in
Seberang Perai, Penang. Respondents are often make careless errors when making
repeated addition. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test, analysis worksheet,
interviews, observations and questionnaires. The analysis of the pre and post test data
showed that all students experience an increase in scores. In addition, the results from the
interviews, questionnaires and observations show an increased interest of students in
operation.
