Russia successfully test-fired an intercontinental missile from a submerged Northern Fleet nuclear submarine on Wednesday, the countrys defense ministry
announced in a statement.
The submerged vessel fired the missile from the Barents Sea to the Kura Range on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the country's far east. The Sineva, which has
a range of about 12,000 kilometers (7,500 miles), was deployed in 2007 as part of the country's efforts to maintain its nuclear power status, according to
Reuters. This is the second such test of a missile by Russia in a week after it had successfully test-fired a new intercontinental ballistic missile on Oct. 29.
Within the frameworks of testing the reliability of marine strategic nuclear forces, the Tula (nuclear submarine) launched a Sineva intercontinental ballistic
missile from the Barents Sea to the Kura Range [in Kamchatka], the Russian defense ministry said in a statement, obtained by RIA Novosti.
Last week, the Russian navys Yuri Dolgoruky nuclear submarine test-fired a Bulava missile from an underwater position in the Barents Sea. The missile
successfully reached the selected targets at a testing range in the Kamchatka Peninsula, the Associated Press reported.
According to media reports, the Bulava missiles can hit targets as far as 5,000 miles away and can cause a blast 100 times more powerful than the atomic
bombs dropped by the U.S. on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Big Fn deal. Putin is busy trying to impress his sheep. He still thinks his Boogie man routine is going to get him somewhere. No one is afraid of him. The world
now knows he is a fool and hates him.

That's not the point. One should never turn their back on a madman. History proves that.
I'm not saying to engage in war, but to merely dismiss his actions is wrong.

In the name of Ukraine NATO and US started to provoke the Russkies. Now when everything seems to run of of control best thing is stop bitching about the spilled
milk rather try cease isolate and single out the Russkies.By Republicans winning mid term is highly recommeded to go back to square 1. Oabama brought the
worst disaster upon US far further than the Kremlin when the sanctions imposed on them rather unified than braking Russia's back . Remember Adolf and
Napoleon broke their backs near Moscow too. PS : Putin taken down by Russian ecconomy ? you guys are tipsy ! keep eating your fast foods from Tijuana ,
Burger Kings & keep dreaming !

Once the Russian people are back to standing in breadlines due to the sanctions like back in the 70's Putin will be taken out by his own. Hopefully it happens
before he has a chance to destroy us all.

Not likely to happen any time soon. Agricultural sector in Russia is now much stronger than it ever was during Soviet times.

Dave Terry There is no shortage of chickens so far. Just business oportunity for Russian farmers. And the people in general are ready to make some
sacrifices "to hold their ground."

Dear Putin, Thank you for giving our Navy the opportunity to practice tracking your missile. We will be using this data to confirm our current capabilities and
improve on them in the near future. Keep up the good work on the saber rattling. Thank you for helping us to justify huge spending increases by the newly elected
GOP majorities. Signed the USA military industrial complex.
