A LETTER FROM OUR PASTOR

We have been blessed by God to enter in the final quarter of
this year 2014. God has not only kept us, God has blessed us!
Gods generosity toward us is beyond measure and his love for
us is outside our comprehension. Yet, we should at this time
express our appreciation. God has blessed the Macedonia
Baptist Church with 106 years of ministry and I am thankful to
have been privileged to share in eighteen of these years. I invite
you to join me in this season of Thanksgiving by declaring, To
God be the Glory for the things God has done. From very
humble beginnings God has done marvelous things. I have
great delight as we rejoice in the knowledge that God has
indeed brought us from a mighty long way.
This is a time of reflection, celebration and expectation. Looking
back as well as forward allows us the opportunity to see the
victories and consider possibilities. It is important that we see what God has done. When we
look at God, we can walk in faith and declare as we look forward, that all things are possible.
Lives have been transformed and a powerful witness has been given and we are thankful for
those who labored in the name of Jesus. The many names written both in the history pages
and the greater list of names documented within the Lambs book of life have participated in
the work of the Kingdom here at the Macedonia Baptist Church and assisted in helping others
to know that we serve a mighty God.
God is positioning the Church in the midst of a transforming world to lift the witness of an ever
present and loving God. There should be a reflection on where we have been, a celebration
about where we are today, and we should give witness with expectation for the great things
God has in store. I am once again thankful for what God has provided throughout these years
and remain in great anticipation for what God is unfolding before us. Let us give God our best
in all things. Our mission is to take the Gospel message to the community and to the utter
most parts of the earth. I am appreciative of the servants who has embraced this challenge
with faith! The future is bright as we walk with God and together, let us look forward to
worshipping, witnessing, discipling and transforming lives through the power of God!
Forever in Gods Service,

Dr. Leonard L. Hamlin, Sr.
