Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study behavior spending, saving and Indebtedness of bank
employees of the state enterprises bank compared to commercial bank. And study to the personal
factors that affect the income, spending, saving and indebtedness of bank employees. Collected data
from survey of 1,200 samples. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics for the study about behavior
and relationship testing with the chi-square technique. By setting the significance level at 0.05
Data analysis revealed results as following; The personal factors of the two samples have similar
characteristics. By have the female more than the male. Mostly aged between 25-34 years. There is single
status and graduate bachelor's degree level, have no a child, have no who be in support , Most residential
homeowners, The average monthly income in the range. from 15,000 to 19,999 baht. The cost of living
per month of the state enterprises bank is higher than most commercial banks employees. The two
groups had average savings per month during 1000-4999 baht. A period of saving money in the past 1-4
years. Most of the total liabilities in the range of less than 10,000 baht. Most indebtedness are from credit
card. The study of the relationship between personal factors that affect the cost savings and
indebtedness in the 2 groups was found Personal factors are relation to spending, saving and
Indebtedness not the same.
