Eloise looking at Beth

Yes

This shot is a lot better the camera doesnt jerk

and the part in which Beth scares Eloise works
really well because they are in the frame correctly
This shot is alright it is usable to an extent I think
that it needs to be re-shot so that the shot we can
actually see Beths face because I think the shot is
too distant from the conversation she is meant to
be having with Eloise
The shot is very well set up and I think it will look
good as it is and we could easily make a few
adjustments to the framing
The shot looks good, and we could cut of the end
part because Beth comes out of character

A pan from Harry walking

No

Eloise is a little bit too quiet which means we cant

hear her words as clear, however the framing
works well
The first part is a lot better than that of the second
one so we could just cut the first part. Also there is
a little bit too much excess volume from passersby.
The shot is jerky and it just doesnt work with Harry
not knowing where he is walking
The shot is alright and Harry walks the correct way
but there is noise of Becky shouting in the
background which would mean that we would have
to cut that out
The shot is well angled but there are excess people
in the background who we dont have permission
to be in it, yet. And the shot jerks a little.
The shot doesnt work the positioning of the
characters is weird and they all look awkward. We
could sue the first part where Harry jumps over the
fence but would need to cut it before the
characters meet.
The shot works we would need to cut out the
beginning because ti takes a while before the
character climbs over the fence. We could use that
but would again need to cut out the ending.
The situation feels very awkward and Harry forgets
his lines also the other two characters are a little
bit too much out of frame
The characters arent focused and the camera is
too jerky when it moves.

13
seconds

Point of view shot of the

kidnapper watching Rikki.

Yes

The framing was good, as was the lighting. There

was a good view of Rikki, however the start and
end need to be cut.
There is a long waiting time for the character to
walk, and when she does an unintended person
walks in front of her.
There is a steady zoom out which reveals where
the person is watching from which is good. The
position and lighting is well done. However,
sometimes she does not have the right facial
expression which doesnt work with the shot. This
will have to be cut.

The zoom is a lot better and all people are

positioned in frame the camera doesnt jerk around
and the zoom is very smooth also all of the
characters get their words right however Harry has
a slight hiccup.
The shot works well but a little bit at the end needs
to be cut out because Harry falls on Katie.

Yes

Rikki begins to be followed

by the stranger.

No

The camera positioning is good because it enables

us to see the alley location. The natural lighting is
good. However, at the start you can hear the
camera operator shouting for the actor to go. This
will have to be cut.
Although the footage isnt good quality because its
blurry, it works because it conceals the identity of
the person following, creating a more eerie
atmosphere.
The shot is still slightly blurry and the actor makes
a mistake forcing us to re-film.

No

The footage is slightly clearer, however the pace of

the shot makes it unusable; actors are walking too
slow.
The tracking movement was not good as it didnt
fully follow her feet which made the framing bad.
Her feet were not fully in the shot but the
movement was better. However, the sound is
unusable as there is talking, however sound effects
of walking and leaves/twigs crunching would be
better to use.
This is usable up to 4 seconds because the feet go
out of the frame after this. The tracking movement
did not keep up with the feet.
The tracking movement only followed the feet to 5
seconds, and then the framing is off.
The feet are not in the frame, only the legs are.

Shot Log

Match cut on Rikkis feet.

Yes

This shot is better because the feet are in the

frame more. At one point she gets a little ahead,
however it is fixed which makes it usable.
An unwanted person came into the frame.
However, the shot shows a shallow focus which is
good because it conceals the followers identity,
leaving it a mystery.
Too blurry, the manual focus was adjusted too
much.

00513

8
seconds

Close up of Rikki nervously

looking around.

Possibly

The start is good. The close up is positioned well;

however, the end is not good due to sound.

The shot is a bit short which takes away from the

drama, however it is good because it has a slight
unfocus to the background and the actors reaction
can be seen.
Rikki is visible through the bush the camera gives a
good hand-held affect. However the end must be
cut because visibility is reduced due to thicker
bush.
This shot is of better quality because the hand held
camera is better due to the increased visibility.
The writing is not visible but thats fine because its
an over the shoulder shot. The positioning of the
camera is good.
The text is very clear and visible and the shot is
steady.

Yes

the characters fear due to her mouth also being in
