IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Candidates are advised to closely read and comply with these instructions, as also the instructions given by the invigilator/Venue Superintendent/Supervisor at the Written Test Venue.

1. General Instructions
a. Candidates are requested to report f or appearing in the written test at the allotted test centre on the date and reporting time specif ied abov e. No
candidate will be allowed to enter the test centre 15 minutes af ter the Test Start Time.
b. No candidate will be permitted entry into the W ritten Test Venue without the Admit Card and a Photo Identity Card. Please note that apart the Admit Card, y ou will
also be required to produce a Photo Identity Card (Voter Identity Card / Driv ing License / Passport / Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Ration Card / Student
Identity Card / Identity Card issued by Employ er or any other photo ID issued by a Gov ernment / Local authority / Gazetted Of f icer) as proof of y our
identity at the time of written test
c. Both the Admit Card and y our Photo Identity Card must be produced f or v erif ication in the examination hall. If you do not produce your Admit Card and a
Photo Identity Card, you will not be permitted to take the written test.

d. Attendance of the candidates will be taken through biometric scanning dev ices.
e. Strictly f ollow the instructions giv en by the inv igilator / Venue Superintendent / Superv isor and those giv en on the Question Booklet and OMR Answer
Sheet.
f . Only Blue or Black Point Pens are required. YOU NEED NOT BRING ANY PENCILS.
g. Candidates shall not be allowed to carry any calculators, mobiles phones, Bluetooth dev ices, papers, notes, books, scanning dev ices, pagers,
headphones, earplugs, laptops, ipads, Tablet PCs and / or other computing/communication dev ices into the Written Test Venue. Candidates shall be
responsible f or saf e-keeping of such materials outside the Venue because arrangement f or their saf e-keeping cannot be assured by us. Candidates
using or possessing such unauthorized materials, indulging in copy ing or impersonation or adopting unf air means are liable to be summarily disqualif ied
and may also be subjected to penal action.
h. Insolent behav iour, disorderly conduct of using of / attempting to use unf air practices by a candidate shall render the candidate liable f or
disqualif ication and legal action.
i. Request f or change of Test Centre / Test Date & Address of Communication will not be entertained under any circumstances.
j. SJVN will not reimburse any cost incurred by the candidate f or trav elling in order to take the written test.
k. Violation of examination norms in any f orm inside the examination hall including f ailure to submit the OMR Answer Sheet to the concerned inv igilator
will lead to cancellation of the candidature.
l. This Admit Card is not a certif icate of eligibility . Admission to the Written Test is subject to v erif ication of y our eligibility .

2.Instructions for Question Booklet

a. Write y our Roll Number on the Question Booklet and sign on the space prov ided f or signature.
b. The candidates must check that the Question Booklet has all multiple choice questions in sequence. If any discrepancy is f ound, immediately report
to the Inv igilator and request f or another Question Booklet.
c. Space has been prov ided at the end of the Question Booklet f or rough work.
d. Considering the tight time span, do not waste y our time on a question which y ou f ind to be dif f icult. Go on solv ing questions one by one and come
back to the dif f icult questions at the end.

3.Instructions for OMR Answ er Sheet

a. Use only blue or black ball point pen throughout the OMR Answer Sheet , f or f iling Name, Roll Number, Question Booklet No., Question Booklet Series etc.
and f or shading the ov als.
b. Write y our Roll Number, Question Booklet Number and Question Booklet Series on the OMR Answer Sheet caref ully and sign at the appropriate place.
Please note that if you do not write the Question Booklet Series and Question Booklet Number carefully in the OMR Sheet, your OMR Answer Sheet will be treated as invalid
and will not be evaluated.

c. Each question will be f ollowed by f our options. Y our task will be to choose the correct answer f rom the option and darken the relev ant ov al on the
OMR Answer Sheet. There will be no negativ e marking.
d. Completely shade the ov al so that the letter inside the ov al is not v isible. Darken only one ov al f or each answer. Scratching, ov erwriting, tick-marks
and multiple answers will be considered as wrong.
e. OMR Answer Sheets will be processed by electronic means. Inv alidation of the OMR Answer Sheet due to its f olding/wrinkling or putting of stray
marks on it or due to any other damage to it as well as incomplete/incorrect f iling of the Answer Sheet or ov erwriting on the ov al or use of whitener,
will be the sole responsibility of the candidate. Rough work MUST NOT be done on the OMR answer sheet. Use y our test booklet f or rough work
f . No candidate shall be allowed to leav e the examination hall bef ore the conclusion of the written test and without handing ov er the OMR Answer Sheet
to the inv igilator concerned. The candidate is allowed to take away the Question Booklet and Admit Card.
