INT. APARTMENT LOUNGE - MORNING

Louis Armstrongs "What a Wonderful World" plays on a
record player.
JERRY, 20s, dressed in a black hoodie and jeans, is
sitting in front of the sofa. There is blood on his hands
and face. He brushes his hands through his hair.
There is a bloodied dead GIRL(1) on the couch.
He drags the GIRL(1) into the kitchen.

EXT. APARTMENT BUILDINGS DUMPSTERS - DAY

JERRY exits the building holding two white bin bags with
bloodied body bits in them. He puts them in the dumpsters.

START OF MONTAGE OF

KILLINGS.

INT. KITCHEN - DAY

JERRY places a bloodied knife into a bag.
EXT. CANAL - DAY
JERRY throws the bag with the bloodied knife into the
canal.
INT. BEDROOM - DAY
Shadow on the wall insinuating two people having sex in
the missionary position.
JERRY is strangling a GIRL(2) on the bed.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
JERRY buries a bloodied saw.
INT. KITCHEN - NIGHT
JERRY opens the fridge and takes out some milk. There is a
severed head in a bag in the fridge.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
JERRY digs up the bloodied saw.
INT. CAR PARK - DAY
The car park is empty. Jerrys car is steamed up and is
bouncing up and down.
Blood squirts across the back windscreen.

INT. CAR - DAY (IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS)

JERRY places a bloodied knife into a bag.
EXT. CANAL - DAY
JERRY throws the bag with the bloodied knife into the
canal.
EXT. PATHWAY - NIGHT
A GIRL(4) is walking along a pathway. Two arms come out of
a bush and pull her in.
The bush shakes, then stops. JERRY steps out with a
bloodied mouth. He wipes his mouth and walks off.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
JERRY buries a bloody saw.
EXT. PARK - DAY
A CHILD goes up to its MUM and shows her a wig she found.
The MUM looks at it and sees its someones scalp. A look
of horror comes to her face.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
JERRY digs up the bloodied saw.
INT. GARAGE - NIGHT
JERRY has put a hose leading from the exhaust pipe through
the window of the car. A GIRL(5) is in there and the car
is locked. She is choking to death.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
JERRY buries a bloody saw.
INT. BATHROOM - DAY
JERRY slits a GIRLs(6) throat and then drowns her in the
toilet.
INT. BATHROOM - DAY (IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS)
JERRY places a bloodied knife into a bag.
EXT. CANAL - DAY
JERRY throws the bag with a bloodied knife into the canal.

INT. HALLWAY - MORNING

JERRY opens his closet and a dead GIRL(7) falls out. JERRY
rolls his eyes.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
JERRY digs up a bloody saw.
INT. KITCHEN - DAY
JERRY bangs a GIRLs(8) head in the fridge door several
times violently. The severed head falls out. He catches
it. He rolls his eyes.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
JERRY buries a bloody saw.
INT. KITCHEN - DAY
JERRY empties the head bag into a barrel. It fizzes in the
acid.
EXT. GARDEN - DAY
JERRY is dressed in cement covered clothes. He admires his
newly built patio, under which he has buried some bodies.

END OF MONTAGE

EXT. BUS STOP - NIGHT

Cold, dark, dusk. An ominous figure, dressed like Jerry,
approaches a girl, HANNAH, on the street curb. She is on
her own.
He walks towards her.
A car slows to a halt and beeps its horn. It is her lift.
The figure looks to the car, but walks into a lamp post.
HANNAH looks up and sees what happened. She laughs.
HANNAH
Oh my God. Are you okay?
HANNAH goes round to check on him.
STAN lightly kicks the post.
STAN
(almost smiling)
God damn lamp post.
STAN rubs his head.
HANNAH is giggling.
(CONTINUED)

What?
HANNAH
That was hilarious.
STAN
What? No it wasnt.
HANNAH
(still laughing)
I wish I got that on camera
STAN
Its not funny.
HANNAH
It was pretty funny.
STAN
It was painful. I think I might
have broken something.
Pause.
HANNAH
(almost ashamed)
Im sorry. Are you okay?
Pause.
STAN
(Stans anger fades. In a
low tone, smiling.)
Yeah, Dont worry. I guess it was
kinda funny.
HANNAH laughs.
HANNAH
There you go.
HANNAH hits STAN playfully.
Youve not cut yourself have you?
HANNAH checks his crown.
STAN
No. I dont think so.
HANNAH
Nah. Youre good.
Pause. They look at each other.
Im Hannah by the way.

STAN
Im Stan.
Pause.
The car driver beeps the horn.
A girl peers out the window.
FRIEND
Hannah. Come on. We dont have
all day.
HANNAH
Id better go. It was great
meeting you Stan.
She starts to walk off.
STAN
(nervously)
Wait. Hannah. Erm, I wouldnt
suppose you wanna, I dont
know, meet up some time?
HANNAH
Yeah. Sure. Id like that.
STAN
Great. Heres my number.
STAN hands HANNAH her phone. She notes the number down,
then gives it back.
Thanks.
HANNAH gets in the car. The window is down. She waves out
the window.
HANNAH
Bye Stan.
She smiles at him. She winds up the window as the car
drives off.
STAN, smitten, waves goodbye.

TITLE
3 months later.

INT. BEDROOM - DAY

STAN is doing his hair in the dining room mirror. JERRY is
eating a sandwich.

(CONTINUED)

STAN
Shes wonderful.
JERRY
I know. Youve been telling me
for the past hour.
STAN
I know. But shes so...
wonderful.
(His face becomes serious)
I think shes the one. Im gonna
ask her to marry me.
JERRY
You shouldnt.
STAN
Its not too soon is it? Well I
dont care. I love her and I
think its the right thing to do.
JERRY
(tutting and shaking head)
Stan, Stan, Stan, Stan, Stan.
STAN
What?
JERRY
You cant marry her.
STAN
Why not?
JERRY
Because you want to kill her.
STAN
What? No I dont.
JERRY
Sure you do. Its great.
STAN
No I dont. I love her.
JERRY
No. You think you love her.
(pause) But you should kill her.
STAN
No. Im not a murderer.
JERRY
No youre not. Youre a
psychopath.

JERRY
You are. Look at yourself.
Stan looks into the mirror. He doesnt know what to think.
JERRY
Do it. (pause) Kill her.
STAN
No. I wont listen to you.
JERRY
I know what you want, and you
want to kill her.
Stan silently refuses.
JERRY
(firmer)
Stan. Im telling you, you need
to kill her.
STAN
No. Im not killing her. I love
her.
JERRY
Stan. Fucking listen to me.
Youre a fucking psychopath. You
need to fucking kill her.
STAN
No. Fuck off.
JERRY
Stan. You need to fucking kill
that bitch.
STAN
No. Fuck off.
JERRY
Stan.
STAN
Go away.
JERRY
Stan.
STAN
No.

JERRY
Stan.
STAN screams. He punches the mirror and it breaks. He
pants, out of breath. He walks out of the apartment.

INT. FANCY DRESS PARTY - HOUSE - NIGHT.

STAN and HANNAH arrive at the costume party. They are both
dressed up. STAN is dressed as a vampire. HANNAH is
dressed as a lumberjack, holding a real axe.
The friend opens the door.
FRIEND
(Screaming excitedly)
Hannah!
HANNAH
Rachel!
They hug.
FRIEND
Come in. Come in.
They enter. Rachel looks to Stan, impressed.
Is this the guy youve been
telling me about?
HANNAH
Rachel, this is Stan. Stan,
Rachel.
STAN
Nice to meet you.
FRIEND
Why dont you guys settle in.
Drinks are in the kitchen.
SKIP AHEADHANNAH and STAN are sitting on the sofa kissing. STAN
places his hand on her thigh.
HANNAH
No.
HANNAH pushes it off.
STAN
Come on.
He places it back on.

HANNAH
Not here.
STAN
Where?
HANNAH
Upstairs.
HANNAH and STAN go upstairs and go to the bedroom. They go
in. The lights are out.
HANNAH and STAN start having sex.
FLASHBACK TO BATHROOM SCENE:
JERRY
Do it. (pause) Fucking kill that
bitch.
BACK TO NORMAL:
HANNAH begins to struggle to breathe.
FLASHBACK TO BATHROOM SCENE:
STAN
No. (pause) Im not killing her.
(pause) I love her.
BACK TO NORMAL:
HANNAH switches on the light and STAN is strangling her.
The overexposure leads to a flashback.
FLASHBACK:
Distortion reveals that Jerry wasnt really there. Stan
standing at the mirror flashes between being Jerry and
Stan.
JERRY
Kill
STAN
Her.
HANNAH tries to push STAN off and hit his arm but he
insists.
FLASHBACK:
STAN places the bloodied knife into a bag.
BACK TO NORMAL:
HANNAH claws at STANs face. He keeps going.

FLASHBACK:
STAN empties the head bag into the barrel.
BACK TO NORMAL:
HANNAH reaches across to the bed side cabinet and picks up
a beer bottle. She smashes it across his head. He falls of
to a side.
HANNAH runs out of the room and down the stairs and
outside.
STAN looks out the window. He touches his head then looks
at the blood on his fingers.
HANNAH runs into the road. A car comes and hits her. STAN
looks up. He smiles.
A crowd gather around outside. HANNAH is laying on the
floor. STAN comes outside.
She turns over and coughs.
FRIEND
Shes alive! Quick. Stan. Go
inside and call an ambulance.
STAN runs inside.
Dont worry Hannah. Youre gonna
be okay.
STAN runs back outside with the axe and plunges it into
her.
CUT TO CREDITS
IMMEDIATELY PLAY
"WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD"
He plunges it into her several times. The other people all
look at him. He looks at them, brings the axe up above his
head and brings it down.
CUT TO CREDITS BEFORE AXE IMPACT.
