Description: Spiritual design made in photoshop.

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, Steps taken while designing):
When making this project i used google to find images of
something i find spiritual as well as a texture and a new font. I
took the scenery picture and made it the background. Then i
took the cloud texture that i found on google and placed in on
the bottom half of the picture to create a foggy look. I used the
masking tool to make the hard lines of the picture faded. After
i found the position that i liked i created a text box a added my
text.
Message: I wanted to show something that i find spiritual. I often
go to the mountains to create a release from the world as well to
appreciate it.
Audience: Those that enjoy nature as well as those that forget to
appreciate nature.
Top Thing Learned: Using a texture as an overlay and using the
masking tool to blend.
Filter / Colorization used and where it was applied: After putting
a texture as an overlay on my picture, i used the masking tool to
create a color change. The picture was clear and appeared as
if there was a sunset, but after i added the mask and texture it
looks like a sunrise.

Orange, red, yellow

Logos
Description: Three logos for the 411 creative blog
Process: When i made this i started by looking through Pinterest
and online sites for logos and to get an idea of what i wanted to
do for thing blog. After doing some research i began sketching
out ideas of what i wanted to create. I took four or five of my
favorite designs and began to create on illustrator. After i got
the hang of the program i found out what i could do to expand
upon three of the logos that i liked. With each one i wanted to
do something different. i kept adding and taking away certain
elements to get the logo the way that i wanted. The blog is
about making vintage crafts that have a rustic touch to them so
i tried to incorporate vintage colors as well as more earth toned
hues to complete the look. As far as typography, i wanted to
make the text look more feminine and on the last one i wanted to
use a script font to play on the creative idea.
Message: 411 Creative is all about the vintage look with a rustic
touch.
Audience: 18-25 year old women
Top Thing Learned: How to use handlebars to contort shapes to

Webpage

Description:Logo design on webpage for potential employer

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used notepad ++ to create a
webpage with css and html. I began by adding my logo and the
information about my logo design into html. I then used css to make
the layout and design of my webpage. I corrected the size and
color of the font first. For the background i entered in a picture into
css of mountains and i had to enter in the right size to get it to fit.
I then put padding by the margins so that the white transparent
background behind the text would be separated from the
background.It took a a while to get everything aligned right.I used a
special code to make the whit background to make it transparent.
Overall it was difficult, but i think that it turned out well.

to create hierarchy with the information that was given to me
by making the most important pieces the focal point, such as
