This is simply a photo of the cover page of Common Sense (By Thomas Paine himself) that
Britannica provided.

Paine, Thomas. Common Sense. Charlottesville, Va.: U of Virginia Library, 1993. Print.
This is an electric copy of Thomas Paines very own pamphlet [Common Sense]. I used it to
actually read through and to understand how this man sparked the rising need of independence.
To be honest, it was a shame that he started off anonymous, but due to the hate he had received
from other things, I think by staying anonymous until the time was right really help the colonists.
Paine, Thomas. The Writings of Thomas Paine. Ed. Moncure Daniel Conway. Vol. IV. New York: G.
P. Putnam's Sons, 1896. Print.
This was also on electric copy of the actual novel of itself. Like my annotated bibliography of the
source below, I used this to my advantage of getting to know Paines writings more.
Thomas Paine: The Rights of Man, 2nd Ed. British Library 523.f.19, Pp.168-169.
A photo of Thomas Paines The Rights of Man, which was only used for presentation only.

o Although this encyclopedia page is particularly on Thomas Pain in General, I am solely
focusing on more of his works and thought, and of course, his legacy, especially during

the American Revolution. From what Ive read through the Thought and Works section,
he has had particular works for the American Revolution, Politics, and The Age of
Reason. The influences, or legacies, left behind were that of his pamphlets how it
inspired others.

o This website provided the information of the novel Common Sense rather than
information on Thomas Paine himself. But, due to the Common Senses significance to
the American public during the time, it itself left an impact that influenced the people of
that era. That is why I decided to add it [the information on Common Sense]. This
counted as one of the lasting legacies from Paines leadership.
