Thank you for agreeing to support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the new VPN solution.
This document outlines how you connect to the new F5 VPN solution with a GE issued windows
machine. This is replacing your existing VPN solution which is predominantly Juniper or Cisco.
Pre-Requisites
Please run the following file, in the Installation Section (ONE TIME ONLY) to apply the required
registry updates and fixes to ensure a seamless user experience. This will also replace the
current VPN icon on your desktop but you will still have access to your current VPN solution if you
experience any issues. Details of how to roll back can be found following the below link:

3. Click Install.
3. From the Client, hit the Connect button. Then the following window will
be shown:
4. Please enter your VPN pin & Token and select logon. The client will
automatically pre-populate your gateway with your nearest available
site.
5. Once the log in is successful, the VPN session will be started and the
Login window will be closed automatically. The Client window will now
show connected and a graph of statistics.
6. Once connected, you also will see the F5 icon appear in your tray at the
bottom right.
a. You can close the client window, whilst keeping the connection open. Simply
hit the X in the right hand corner of the client; this will close the window,
removing the taskbar icon at the same time
NOTE: the Icon in the tray still remains to reopen the client window, double click this icon
and the window will appear
7. You are now ready to start using full VPN. Please test this solution and
complete the feedback form here.
2. To disconnect, double click the icon to open the Client window, the hit the
Disconnect button to close the connection
3. The icon in your tray will now be removed and you are disconnected from
F5 VPN service.
4. Once the connection is closed the window will read Disconnected. To reconnect, hit the Connect button and follow the login process from step 3

NOTE: The gateway will be automatically pre-populated with your nearest current site.
4. Once connected, you will see the F5 icon appear in your tray at the bottom
right.
5. The GE Network Access window (which includes the session statistics) will
be automatically minimized into the system tray. This can be opened by
double clicking the icon in the tray.
6. Do not close the GE Network Access window browser page, below, as your
session will terminate. However, you will be prompted if you do so by
accident.
7. You are now ready to start using full VPN. Please test this solution and
complete the feedback form here.
2. To disconnect, double click the icon to open the webtop, the hit the X to
close the webtop browser
3. Select Ok.
4. The icon in your tray will now be removed and you are disconnected
from F5 VPN service.
6. To re-connect please click here, and follow the process from step 1.

Firefox Pre-Requisites
To use Firefox you are required to install the browser plugin. Instructions should appear on
screen but please follow the below if they do not.
