Task 1 Sporting Excellence Scout Report
You are the Head Scout for England u18 centre of sporting excellence. This centre
accommodates activities stated below. You have been asked to scout various fitness aspects
within a sport of your choice at the centre.

Task 2 The Job Interview
You are about to have an interview for a job at a local fitness centre.
The interviewer has asked that you prepare a presentation to give to the fitness
team which focuses on lifestyle factors that affect training and performance as part
of your interview.
Using your knowledge gained through research, watching and participating in
activity, complete the following task.
Individually produce your own interview notes, using PowerPoint or Word, which describes four
different lifestyle factors that have an affect on sports training and performance. (P3)
You need to describe 2 positive lifestyle factors which may enhance sporting performance &
2 negative lifestyle factors which may reduce sporting performance.

training and sporting performance
E.g. In the short-term, In the long term, how does having focused targets affect
performance over the tournament? How does it benefit the player psychological mind for
future tournaments?
Think of real-life situations in sport where these types of incidents have occurred & use
these examples to aid your analysis (pictures & video clips)
