High Cross-Polar Discrimination Dual Polarized

Point-to-Point Microwave Antenna

Dual-polarized, high XPD, high performance parabolic shielded antenna

Andrew Solutions HSX Series antennas are ideal for transmission networks utilizing higher
modulations schemes and co
co--frequency, co
co--channel transmission schemes to maximize link
capacity.

Andrew Solutions shielded point-to-point microwave antennas deliver exceptional RF pattern

performance and superior frequency control, all for a surprisingly low lifetime cost. A wide variety
of configurations and capabilities provide network operators with the flexibility and control they
need in todays evolving market.

Andrew Solutions designs and engineers a complete range of point

point--to
to--point microwave antennas that
help operators to maximize bandwidth efficiency and increase system reliability while minimizing both
capital and operational expenditures.
The HSX antennas feature a feed horn with a unique illuminator ring design. The result is very high
cross
cross--polarization discrimination in both the elevation and azimuth planes. The excellent pattern
performance of the HSX antenna also allows its use in highly congested areas.
Equipped with a painted reflector and RF
RF--absorbing shield, each antenna also features a low VSWR
feed, a planar radome, and vertical pipe mount. All are engineered and tested to Andrew
Andrews
uncompromising standards.
Radiation Pattern Envelopes
Envelopes
For each antenna model, Andrew publishes a complete range of radiation
pattern envelopes (RPEs). Each detailed pattern envelope provides an easy
easy--to
to--read and informative
description of how the antenna performs at various frequencies and along specific planes. Copies of the
RPEs for each antenna are also on file at various regulatory offices around the world.
