Substitute Teacher Computer Program: Mr. Souza hs shared with the Board the “need!” for some sort of "sub finder” software. Background information: A fulelime program assistant is projected to be needed by in mid-February at Aux Sable Elementary School, due fo the 3 and 4m grade resource classroom reaching 8 students with a special education teacher. As you know, special education class sizes are mandated by 23 llinois Administrative Code 226.735, which states that special education classrooms cannot exceed eight students with a teacher and thirteen students with a teacher and a program assistant. In ate December we had @ family move into the distict with students receiving special education minutes. ‘Adding these students fo the program has brought us fo eight students with a teacher. Adding the fulttime program assistant will allow us to meet the lincis mandate and be able fo accommodate an additional 4 students (if we continue fo grow).
