NON NUOC BEACH: Non Nuoc Beach runs for 5 km along the Marble Mountain in Da Nang.
It is bordered by Dien Ngoc Sea to the south and Da Nang to the north.
The beach gently slopes towards the calm, clear and blue ocean; the clarity of the water attracts
people who come to swim and enjoy the seafood.
The area is famous for seaweed, which is exported internationally. Many five-star hotels have
been built in Non Nuoc to accommodate both domestic and foreign tourists.
MARBLE MOUNTAINS: The Marble Mountains, also called Ngu Hanh Son or Mountains of
the Five Element, consist of five peaks: Thuy Son (water) which is the highest, Moc Son (wood),
Kim Son (metal) , Tho Son (soil) and Hoa Son (fire). They are located 12 km east of Da Nang.
Thuy Son has developed into a popular tourist resort because of its alluring beauty. Stone steps
carved into the mountain lead to Tam Thai Pagoda and Huyen Khong Cave.
CHAM MUSEUM: The Cham museum is located at the intersection of Trung Nu Vuong and
Bach Dang streets in Danang. It was built in 1915 with financial support from the French FarEast Research Institute in Vietnam.
This museum owns the most extensive collection of Cham art in the world. In the past, the
capital of the Champa nation was located in present-day Danang. Other famous sites include Tra
Kieu, Dong Duong, My Son and Thap Man.
The museum was built in Cham architectural style, using thin lines that are simple and gentle.
The style originates from the period between the fifth and 15th centuries, when a matriarchal
society prevailed.
More than 300 interesting sculptural statues and bas-reliefs have been collected from different
sites of the ancient Champa Kingdom and preserved in this special museum.
BA NA HILLS: Ba Na Mountain is one of the most beautiful mountains in Da Nang, coming to
Ba Na Hill to admire the greatest beauty of nature and man-made. Located on the high of 1.487
meters above sea level, the temperature of this place is cool; the average temperature in the
summer is about 180C. Tourists can get to the top by Cable Car, visit Linh Ung pagoda located
on the peak of Ba Na Mountain and 27 meters height of "Thich Ca Phat Dai" statue, Le Jardin
resort, The Rocky Mountain built from France (considered as one of the most unique built
structures in Viet Nam and sunken deep into the mountain), Old villas and Tinh Tam Garden.

LINH UNG BAI BUT PAGODA: Linh Ung pagoda is located on the hill, with the shape of
turtle. Linh Ung pagoda in Son Tra peninsula was inaugurated, it is considered not only as the
first processing of Vietnam Buddha in the 21st century but also as the place that gathers
quintessence of the earth. Linh Ung pagoda faces to The Eastern sea, on the left is Cham Islands,
on the right is Hai Van Mountain. Linh Ung-Bai But pagoda is considered as one of the biggest
pagoda in Da Nang city in both of scale and architecture. This pagoda has a combination
between modern style and traditional style. Especially, in Linh Ung-Bai But pagoda, there has
Guan Yin statue that is considered as the highest statue in Vietnam (67 meters height
approximately 30 stories). This statue put its back to the mountain, faces to the sea. Above the
Guan Yin statue is Buddhahood statue with the high of 2 meters.
LUONG SPRING ECO TOURISM: Luong spring eco-tourism is located in the Southern Hai
Van Pass, Hoa Hiep Bac ward (Lien Chieu - Da Nang), it is far about 20 kilometers from Da
Nang city to the Northwest. Here, you will have opportunity to sink in green forest space. Luong
spring eco-tourism has an area of 6 hectares; it is an ideal destination for unique architecture,
which is converged the beautiful cultures of Vietnamese. Under the chain-bridge is Luong spring

HAI VAN PASS: Traveling Hai Van Pass, two feelings are usually experienced: amazement at
passing through the clouds and fear of the dangerous bends of the road. It is located 1,500m
above sea level. Its name means "pass of the ocean clouds", as the peak of the mountain is above
cloud level while its foot is close to the sea. From the top of Hai Van Pass, one can admire Lang
Co Beach to the north and Danang to the south. Endless forests stretch out west of the pass and
the ocean is to the east.

MOST POPULAR ATTRACTIONS IN AND NEAR HANOI
1. Tran Quoc Pagoda
This is one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam on the eastern shore of West Lake .The current
structures are very impressive and date back to 1842. The pagoda is just off the road that divides
West Lake and Truc Bach Lake. Tran Quoc Pagoda is the foremost symbol of Buddhism in the
country. The landmark is beautiful offering good ambience and nice photos.

2. National Museum of Fine Arts


For a singular glimpse into Vietnamese culture, the Countrys National Museum of Fine Arts is
the best place to visit. The museum showcasing Vietnam's fine arts from every historical period.

Vietnams history.

3. The Presidential Palace


Although Hochiminh President passed away but The Presidential Palace in Hanoi is a remarkable
landmark. The palace was built between 1900 and 1906 to house the French Governor-General
of Indochina. The Presidential Palace complex is open every day from 7:30am to 4pm, with a
lunch break from 11am to 1:30pm.

4. One Pillar Pagoda


The Buddhist One Pillar Pagoda is almost peerless in Vietnam, with a history that dates back a
full millenium. The iconic landmark was badly defaced by French troops in 1954 but was rebuilt
decades later.

5. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum


One of the most conspicuous mausoleums in the world, the massive tribute to the most famous
leader in Vietnam provides Hanoi with a landmark on par with Lenins tomb in Moscow. Open
since 1975, the mausoleum site also contains a museum on Ho Chi Minh.

6. Grand Opera House


Hanoi Opera House is located on the August Revolution Square, the center of Hanoi, near Hoan
Kiem Lake and the Vietnam History Museum. The theatre, designed and overseen by the French,
was constructed from 1901 and was finished in 1911. It marks a significant period in the history
of architectural development in Vietnam under the French at the end of nineteenth century to
early twentieth century. It is a historical witness of the Revolution of Hanoi.
The Hanoi Opera House is not only a venue for art performances, but also a place for visitors to
enjoy an almost 100 year old historical architecture.

7. Temple of Literature
Temple of Literature is located on Van Mieu Street, 2km west of Hoan Kiem Lake. Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam is a famous historical and cultural relic consisting of the Temple of Literature and
Vietnam is first university. The temple was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and
Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.

8. Bat Trang Village

The three mountain summits are Dinh Vua which is the highest at 1,296m, Tan Vien which is
1,226m and Ngoc Hoa the smallest at 1,131m. Together they form a three humped crest which is
often obscured by clouds at the highest point due to the varied climate at the park. Pilgrims and
tourists alike usually make the walk to the summit of the Tan Vien peak where an 11th sacred
century shrine stands in memory of the Mountain God.
There are also superb tropical forest views and vistas all the way to Hanoi to be enjoyed from
this peak. The fast-flowing Da River is located on one side of the national park; there are also
several streams running through the park.

12. Hoa Lo Prison


The Hoa Lo Prison was a prison used by the French colonists in Vietnam for political prisoners,
and later by North Vietnam for prisoners of war during the Vietnam War when it was
sarcastically known to American prisoners of war as the "Hanoi Hilton". The prison was
demolished during the 1990s, though the gatehouse remains as a museum.

13. West Lake


To the north of the old quarter is the enormous Ho Tay. This lake is the largest in Hanoi with a
shore length of around 17km (10.6 miles) and is a popular place for recreation with many
surrounding gardens, hotels and villas.

14. Hoan Kiem Lake
