In the newest work by one of the most inventive playwrights of our time (author of earlier
Frank productions such as Top Girls, Mad Forest and Vinegar Tom, Caryl Churchill
creates a theatrical kaleidoscope that explores the rapidly changing world we live in. In
57 micro-scenes, some poignant, some hysterical, some mystifyingand some as short
as 30 seconds, she explores the private and public consequences of our insatiable appetite
for knowledge, urging that this appetite be informed by our capacity for love. This
exciting new work is another example of Churchills brilliant ability to experiment with
form, while keeping her finger on the pulse of contemporary life as she demonstrates her
signature wit, candor, and brilliant use of language.

what his father was lead to believe.
