Kinds of transportation

Nowadays, we are tied by transportation. It makes us easy to do our

activities. Without transportation, we cant move from one place to another. For
example, we go to college by cars or trains. We go on vacation by ships or
planes. There are three kinds of transportation which are land transportation, sea
transportation, and air transportation.
Land transportations are all forms of transport by road to transport
passengers or goods. Anciently people use horses, donkeys, or even humans to
pass through the roads. As the time goes, people use the wheel to simplify the
way they transport. Cars, trucks, vans, pickups, motorcycle, bicycle, trains and
etc are example of land transportation. They are the most common
transportation used by people and are used within a short distance.
Marine transportations are used to carry passengers or goods passing
lakes, rivers, or even sea. In early marine transportations develompent, people
use rafts, rowboats, and sailboats to transport. Nowadays marine transports can
reach far-ranging islands and seas in form of ships, both small and large ones.
Marine transportations are also crucial to support national economy. 80% of
export-import activities are carried by marine transportations.
Air transportations are any kinds of transportation used for mobility
through the air. The function of air transportations are to complete the other
available transportations. In ancient times, there is only one kind of air
transportation which is hot-air balloon. In 1903, Wright Brothers successfully flew
a plane control with distance along 4 miles. It became a beginning of aircraft
developments. There are two kinds of air transportations; planes and helicopters.
Air transportation allow us to move in a long-distance for a short period of time.
Transportation is already in our daily life and we always use it everyday. It
simplify our lives and support our daily activity. We can use three kinds of
transportations according to the distance for short to medium distance we can
use land and marine transportations. Air transportations are used for a long
distance trip. In short, we can say that transportation is a main part of our lives.
