The reason for the job descriptions I chose is that every successful job site and crew needs
to be compiled of three important pieces. The job foreman, which is basically your boss
who is responsible for the crew and their productivity. He tells them what to do and is
responsible for them if they are not doing what needs to be done. Underneath the foreman
you have the Journey man carpenters. They are the workers who actually get the
construction done. They are to listen and report to the foreman and get the job done
properly, safely, and in a timely matter. Last but not least are the laborers. They do the roll
out and the clean up every day and are there to aid the journey men in less technical job
duties.
