AIMS / Vision:- Our Vision is to impart "ORAL EDUCATION" of the highest


standards to deaf children viz. Teaching them to speak and communicate
with the 'hearing world'. CORE MISSION:- The society is committed to
providing the very best facilities and amenities for education deaf children
and infants between the ages of 8 months to 10 years. This is sought to be
done by way of having modern state of the art equipment and apparatus for
auditory testing, specialised and structured teaching methods and
individualised parent couselling programmes. At our MAITRI Centre, we also
have a "Cochlear Re -habilitation" section specifically for cochlear implanted
children. VISION:- Our vision is to ensure that every deaf child or infant in
india is given a fighting chance to develop his /her residual hearing faculties
to their fullest maximum potential and furthermore, in doing so, s/he is able
to converse and communicate fluently in the language of their choosing
without any inhibition, fear or apprehension. The subsequent and final
"mainstreaming" or integration of deaf / hearing impaired children and / or
infants into 'Normal' schools would be our ultimate reward.
