A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BALNAWI S. BALAO-AS, PRESIDENT AND
EDWIN W. MAIYAO, TREASURER OF DANAC BOLINEY FARMERS IRRIGATORS
ASSOCIATION, INC. TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THE LAND BANK OF THE
PHILIPPINES, BANGUED BRANCH FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE
ORGANIZATION AND DESIGNATING THE ABOVENAMED PERSONS AS
AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES THEREOF AND THEREBY GRANTING UNTO THE
SAME PERSONS THE AUTHORITY TO WITHDRAW FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE
NECESSARY AMOUNT APPROVED BY THE BODY DULY SUPPORTED BY
PERTINENT PAPERS AND DOCUMENTS TO FUND ITS PROJECTS AND
ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, there is a need to open an account for the funds of the organization that
may be derived from the membership fees, dues, grants and loans;
WHEREAS, as condition precedent, authority must be granted unto its President and
Treasurer to undertake the necessary actions needed in the opening of a depository
account with the LAND BANK OF THE PHILLIPPINES BANGUED BRANCH for and in
behalf of the organization;
WHEREAS, there is a need to designate authorized signatories of the Land Bank of
the Philippines (LBP) depository account of DANAC BOLINEY FARMERS
IRRIGATORS ASSOCIATION, INC., as follows;

WHEREAS, the above-named officers are hereby authorized as the official

signatories of the above-mentioned account;
NOW THEREFORE, upon motion duly seconded by all members present; BE IT:
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize BALNAWI S. BALAO-AS,
PRESIDENT and EDWIN W. MAIYAO, TREASURER of DANAC BOLINEY FARMERS
IRRIGATORS ASSOCIATION, INC. to open and account with the LAND BANK OF
THE PHILIPPINES, BANGUED BRANCH for and in behalf of the organization and
designating the same persons as authorized signatories thereof.
RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies of this resolution to Land Bank of the
Philippines, Bangued, Abra Branch, for their information, reference and guidance.

The meeting was started with a short prayer led by Mr. Alvin Solimen and
followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Then the agenda of the meeting
which are as follows was read by Mr. Balnawi Balao-as:
1. OPENING OF LAND BANK ACCOUNT
2. OTHER MATTERS
The meeting was then formally started by Mr. Balnawi Balao-as, who acted as
Presiding Officer by presenting to the body the reasons why the organization has to
open an account at Land Bank. The presentation of Mr. Balao-as was followed by an
open forum wherein those who attended were given a chance to ask their questions
and clarify things regarding the agenda; said questions were properly addressed by
the presenter. The body and its officers finally resolved to pass a resolution
authorizing the President and the Treasurer of the Organization to open an account at
Land Bank of the Philippines, Bangued Branch.
The meeting was culminated by a short speech delivered by the President
Balnawi S. Balao-as which centered on the sorry state of our natural resources and on
how the organization will be able to help in addressing these issues by promoting
environmental responsibility and socio-civic consciousness to the entire municipality.
