Paris High School & Junior High


March 24th, 2015

High School:
Cole Edwards the Missouri FFA President will be here to talk to freshman FFA
members during 4th hour.
Paris R-II is taking applications for a maintenance position, up to 40 hours a week.
This is a summer only position. You must be 16 years or older, able to lift heavy
objects, run a weed eater and mower. Non-certified applications can be found on
our website: http://paris.k12.mo.us or picked up at 740 Cleveland St. Paris, MO.
Deadline for applicants is April 14. Paris is an EOE.
Seniors - If you have not paid your $20 class dues, please see Ms. Otto to pay them
as soon as possible. If you are not sure whether or not you have paid, check with
Ms. Otto. You MUST be current on class dues in order to go on the class trip.
A senior class meeting will be held at the start of 4th hour TODAY in Mrs. Watson's
room. If you cannot attend, see Ms. Otto ASAP for information about class trip, etc.

On Thursday, quiz bowl students will be dismissed at 2:35; there will be an all-call to dismiss
them. The bus leaves at 2:45.
Bus for the conference quiz bowl tournament in Salisbury Saturday will leave at 7:45 A.M.
Thursday during 1st intervention there will be a NHS meeting in Mrs. Billingtons
room.
Winter Sports banquet, TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m. Each family is asked to bring 1 2
dishes.
April 1st during 6th hour a rep from State Technical College of MO will be here (Linn
State)
Graduating seniors and any interested graduates currently enrolled in college there
are summer employment opportunities available with the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers at Mark Twain Lake. These opportunities are available thru the
www.usajobs.gov website. For more information please stop by the office.
Seniors bring 3-5 pictures from newborn to now for the Senior slideshow. Bring them to Mrs. Otto, Kyle,
Audrey or Russell.

Junior High:
Summer Baseball forms for the Paris Rec. League are in the office. Stop and pick a form up if
you are interested in playing. Forms are due April 2.
