Create the Frosh website in collaboration with the VP Social and External

AUS executives and other AUS employees in a timely manner

Want to be the official translator of the AUS? Duties include translating the weekly
AUS listserv, official documents and other miscellaneous items. Preferences will be

Francophone Commissioners - 2 [Unpaid]


The AUS Francophone Commission works to represent Francophone and bilingual
students interests and to further francophone and Quebecois culture in the AUS. They

Speaker of Council [Paid]


- Serves as neutral and impartial chair of AUS Council meetings, AUS Town Halls,
AUS General Assemblies, and other public meetings as needed; should be familiar with
Robert's Rules of Order and must be willing to learn about AUS governance and
policies; to apply, you must have experience chairing large meetings

AUS Elections Team [Paid]


- Consists of one Chief Returning Officer and two Deputy Returning Officers; all
applicants will be considered for all three positions on the team. If you are not
interested in being considered for CRO and would rather be considered only for DRO,

- The Chief Returning Officer serves as impartial overseer of AUS Elections and
Referenda; works with Deputy Returning Officers and leads the team to ensure smooth
and fair conduct during AUS elections and referenda.
- All members of the Elections Team interpret AUS bylaws and constitution; no
member can be politically "involved" at McGill; you must be extremely detail-oriented

- The international student affairs coordinators will help to ease the transition and
representation of international students. They will be active around orientation activities
and also afterwards within the AUS to forge relationships with campus groups to bring
services to international arts students. They may also run workshops, programming, and

AUS Essay Centre Coordinators [Paid]


Are you passionate about making sure your fellow students get help with their
papers? Were looking for both an Internal and External Coordinator to run the AUS
Essay Centre next year! The External Coordinator is responsible for advertising,
promotion and communicating with the AUS and external groups. The Internal
Coordinator is responsible for hiring tutors, scheduling, and orientation. Both positions
will split staffing drop-in hours each week.
Those interested must be at McGill for the entire 2015-2016 academic year and meet at

AUSec is the AUS Environmental Council, a standing committee under the AUS

AUSec is the AUS Environmental Council, a standing committee under the AUS
whose mission is to promote sustainability (ecological, financial, and social) within the
AUS.
1- Sustainability Commissioner: will work to ensure that AUS initiatives such as frosh,
BDA, and other events are sustainable, and will spearhead initiatives to promote
sustainable practices within the AUS
2- Internal Commissioner: will work with AUS departmental associations and internal
groups to encourage sustainability in their practices
3- External Commissioner: will sit on AUS Legislative Council as a voting member and
