The Bowl AThon welcomes Edmontonians (+18) to bring together a team of 10 or more friends, family members and
colleagues to enjoy 8 hours of marathon bowling and entertainment from 4p.m. to midnight..
Online
registra-on
makes
it
easy
to
enter
as
many
team
members
as
you
want!
We
invite
you
to
bring
back
ups
and
come
prepared
to
rotate
your
players
throughout
the
evening,
but
dont
worry
if
you
are
short
a
few
players,
or
dont
have
a
team
to
par-cipate
with
-
we
have
a
team
for
you
to
come
play
with!
The
Fundraising
Goal
(or
Lane
Sponsorship
Fee)
is
$2500
per
team.
Registration for SOE Bowl-A-Thon- is just $25 per
person a great deal for an evening of fun, fitness and fundraising.
Teams
are
encouraged
to
collect
pledges
and
sponsors
for
their
big
day.
We
have
great
prizes
for
the
top
fundraisers.
There
will
also
be
a
silent
auc-on,
air
hockey
tournaments,
a
DJ,
entertainment,
yummy
food
and
more
as
we
do
our
best
to
help
you
make
it
through
all
8
hours.

Today
550
Edmonton
Athletes
par-cipate
year
round
in
our
37
sport
programs
funded
almost
wholly
through
dona-ons
and
fundraisers.
Bowling
is
our
athletes
favorite
sport.
The
Bowl
for
Special
Olympics
annual
fund
raising
event
is
built
around
the
Athlete,
and
provides
the
greater
Edmonton
community
a
rst-hand
experience
with
our
Athletes
in
addi-on
to
the
fun
of
bowling
with
colleagues
and
friends.
The
resul-ng
nancial
support
is
cri-cal
to
the
programs
that
enable
Athletes
to
par-cipate
and
excel
locally,
provincially,
na-onally
and
even
interna-onally.
SOA-EDM
does
not
receive
government
funding
so
is
completely
reliant
on
fundraising
dollars.
83%
of
all
funds
go
directly
to
support
the
programs
our
athlete
par-cipate
in.
