1. Write about the relation between Projeto Ax, Capoeira and the Street
Kids. (one paragraph)

The Project Axe used capoeira to help street children and other young
people who are at risk for gettinng into trouble. Your programs are helping many of
Salvadors children and teenagers who have run away from their homes. The
participants may be in trouble with the police or be in program which help people
with drug problems. Project axe can help them, but first they have to make some
changes.
2. Who is Mario Ribeiro de Freitas and what does he do?

Mario Ribeiro de Freitas is a master of Capoeira. He works with Project
Axe and teaches capoeira in Salvador for ten years.
3. Who is Milton dos Santos and how capoeira changed his life?
R=
Milton dos Santos is a student of capoeira. The Project Axe, through the
capoeira, removes him of the drugs, of the crime, and too on the street. When began
to study capoeira, he didnt do that bad actions anymore. With the capoeira your life
is better.

1. Whats the plot (story) of the book? (Minimum 50 words)

The book speaks about the magic barber. The story happens at the
Crossways city, a quiet town. Everybody in this city wears a large black hat,
because they all have long hair. However, the calm in Crossways was affected when
a small boy appears beating a drum, after him is a donkey, after the donkey is a
magic barber which promise to cut the peoples hair, for only one dollar. While he
cuts the peoples hair, the boy stole the hats of everybody, since they all threw your
hats in the air. The magic barber left him without hair. The Crossways people go
angry and want yours hats of turn. Then, the smart barber goes back to city and sells
the hats of everybody for two dollar and they buys.
2. List the sentences using:

the young mans hair became short, they all shout and cheers. Everybody was happy.

shapes, all sizes. They all cheer and shout. After the purchase they all are happy.

The city is quiet and sleepy. The people wore a large black hat,
everybody in Crossways has a long hair.
9. What types of hats do the people in Crossways wear?

Depend the age and sex of the people. The men wore tall, black hats. The
women wore round, black hats. The boys wore flat, black hats. And the girls wore
square, black hats.
