Amy Ludwig was a 16 year old girl with long brown hair, glowing bown eyes, lush

pink lips and a smile that enchanted all whom she graced. Although she had a
positivly wonderful exterior her interior scarcely matched her radient beauty.
Amy, although making sure she was well kept ignored her environment and saw
it fit to litter and destroy her surrounding without any consideration for what the
consequences of her actions may be, always spreading her filth wherever she
troded. Little did she know, that she would soon learn a lesson that would follow
her for the rest of her life.
One day at school after amy had finished eating her lunch, she proceeded to
dispose of her container on a bench adjacent to a red trash can in the
caferteria. She was seen by her homeroom teacher who imediately shouted,
Dispose of that container properly young lady
Amy with a bitter voice responded, Mi na tek up nuttin, why u no do it
The teacher surprised and angered by her crude and crass response sentenced
her immediately to detention and awarded her a demerit.
At detention she was forced to learn the importance of the environment to
human survival and development. Amy, of course having to interest in the topic
at hand spoke with her friends and ranted on about the pointlessness of the
lesson and how it would it never benefit them. After detention she proceeded to
the deans office where she collected a blue jumpsuite which she would wear
while serving her demerit. Amy for her punishment was ordered to clean up the
garbage around the lunch area and wipe down the windows on the first form
block. She reluctantly and scornfully under went the task assigned to her,
stopping periodically to have a drink. While she worked her companions teased
and taunted her saying, Look de nasty Amy a clean up di school,
Amy began to slowly regret her actions beacause of the embarassment which
she was facing. When she could not bear the teasing any longer she dropped
the garbage bags and ran away sobbing.
When she got home she drowned her sorrows in soda and ice cream until she
finally dozed off into the night.
Amy opened her eyes, soon to realize that her entire body was consumed by an
unbearable darkness.
Suddenly a sweet voice let out from the darkness, Amy Ludwig I have come for
you.
Both mesmerized and terrified by the unknown voice bellowing from the shadows
Amy shrieked, Who u be and we you wa from mi, ya God
The genltle voice whispered in response,Young child I am not God, but merely a
representation of the spirit of nature, come to show you the error of your ways.
A we mi.., said Amy in a vulger tone with her face made up.

However before she could complete her statement she found herself on what
seemed like a beach.
There, she saw images that would be etched in her memory for the rest of her
life. As Amy wandered the beach, instead of the feeling of smooth sand on her
toes, she was greeted by a sharp piece of glass which punctured her big toe. As
she limped on in pain she observed the the volume of garbage on the beach
tripping on bottles as shewalked. Moving closer and closer to the sea she saw
many dead birds with foil and plastic wrapped around their thin and delicate
necks.
After seeing such a sight Amt screamed, Tek mi back please tek mi back.
Her plead garnered no response and before she knew it she was transported to
what seemed like a rainforest. Starving and half-dead animals populated the few
trees which remained in the forest. A near by stream had been poluted so badly
that the once pure flowing water was replaced by muddy, dirty debris filled water
that with an unbearable stench.
Amy, emotionally paralyzed by what she saw at both locations and the pain
engrossing her leg broke down in tears .
She cried out, Please take me from here mother nature I promise to change I
promise.
Without a word she woke up in her room, it was morning and there was no longer
a pain in her leg.Relieved, she sprung out of bed and headed straight to school,
when she arrived the taunting continued, though this time she wasnt affected.
She went directly to her, teacher and sincerely appologized to her for her
reckless bad behaviour.
Her teacher said with a beaming smile, Your forgiven dear Amy You are
forgiven.
Amy, now a changed person from her experience, made sure to dispose of her
litter correctly and encouraged others to do the same as she did. She was so
inspired that she established a new club aimed at the protection of wildwife from
the dangerous effects of pollution. Amy Ludwig 16 years of age was now the
picture of perfection, having a beautiful interior and a beautiful exterior.
