Mission & Vision


The mission of City College is to educate and train students in their chosen major for
employment in specific career fields. The College awards Diplomas, Associate of
Science or Bachelor of Science degrees based on the student's successful completion
of required coursework.
Building a legacy of excellence is our intent and positioning City College as a
compelling choice for potential students. In the dynamic and highly fluid environment
of current higher education, to stay ahead, we must press ahead. Yet, we seek new
dimensions of providing an Extraordinary Educational Experience, not simply because

Allied Health
Medical Assisting: The Medical Assisting program provides students with the
opportunity to develop the clinical, laboratory, and clerical skills required to
work in a variety of positions in health care facilities. Learn more about our

Medical Office Administration (with a Track in Insurance Billing and Coding):
The Medical Office Administration program with a Track in Insurance Billing
and Coding equips students with the knowledge and specialized skills for a

Mental Health Technology: The Mental Health Technology program prepares
students with the technical abilities, both written and verbal, for the mental
health profession. The comprehensive curriculum focuses on diverse issues, from

Anesthesia Technology
completion of this program, students are eligible to take the anesthesia
technician certification examination offered by The American Society of
Anesthesia Technologists and Technician and become a Certified Anesthesia
Technologist or Certified Anesthesia Technician.

Accounting: The Business Administration Accounting major offers advanced


financial accounting, cost accounting, finance and taxation courses. The program
also offers a variety of managerial courses to provide the student with
professional knowledge and skills.
Management: The Business Administration Management major offers advanced
business, marketing and operations courses as well as the courses which provides
students with current and innovative business and managerial techniques.
Project Management: The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
program with a major in Project Management is designed to provide students
with the knowledge, skills and techniques necessary to effectively initiate, plan,
and execute, a project in their area of previous technical training.
