residency
based
in
the
Centre
across
one
week
of
the
Summer
Project
Outline
The
Residency
would
consist
of
use
of
the
Centre
during
working
hours
to
compose
and
rehearse.
The
Composer/Performer
could
include
other
performers
in
the
residency
at
intervals
throughout
the
week.
The
Composer/Performer
would
be
free
to
use
the
time
as
they
wish.
There
is
no
expectation
of
an
outcome
however
should
an
outcome
materialise
the
Centre
could
offer
public
performance
opportunities
either
through
its
Culture
Night
programme
Sep
2015
or
Temple
Bar
Arts
Week,
Nov
2015
or
both.
The
Composer/Performer
would
have
access
to
CMCs
library
archive
of
recordings
and
scores
for
reference.
The
Composer/Performer
could
avail
of
the
Centres
indoor
and
outdoor
equipment,
Clavinova,
meeting
room,
kitchen
and
general
office
space.
If
desirable
the
Centre
could
offer
documentation
and
promotional
resources
through
the
creation
of
an
online
blog
and
via
social
media.
Dates
The
proposed
week
is
13
17
July
inclusive.
General
opening
hours
10am
5pm.
(There
is
some
flexibility
around
this
if
required
for
earlier
opening
and
later
closing)
Budget
The
Centre
has
a
small
budget
to
cover
travel
and
accommodation
expenses
where
necessary.
A
per
diem
will
also
be
offered.

but
an
offer
of
space,
time
and
resources
to
a
composer
to
write
within
a
supportive
environment
with
access
to
resources
and
materials.
As
such
there
is
no
commission
fee
and
likewise
no
expectation
of
any
outcome
from
the
process.
