To prevent accidents,do not remove safety

devices or parts while operating the machi ne .

Do not leave tools or other unnecessary

objects on the machine table while
operating the machine.
Befare maintenance,adjusting, cleaning,
threading ar replacing the needle, and to
prevent accidents,be sure the power is
turned off.Check that the machine will not
operate when the pedal is pressed .

Note
In case a clutch type motor is used, it will
keep on rotating by inertia after turning
off power supply. CD If the machine pedal
Q) is stepped on inadvertentiy, it is
dangerous because the machine will move
unexpectedly.keep on stepping on the
pedal Q) until the machine comes to a stop
after turning off power supply.

Turn the power off before leaving the

machine table.
In the event of a power failure,be sure to
turn the machine off.
Check that the machine is securely
groundee.

How TO INSTALL THE MACHINE

(1) Install he machine according to the table cut-out di agram, Cushi on Rubber and Res! Board as
encl osed. In case of semi-subrncrged, the distance bctween Needle plate tap surfacc and Tab le
Top is about IOOmm, and for fu ll y-submerged is about 5mm.
(2) Setting the pedal of cl utch motor to the le ft side and the pedal of presser fo ot lift at right ride.
(3) Instal! the cloth waste ch ute, thread stand as parts listo
(4) Be sure the motor turnin g direction is c\ockwise . And the be lt can be press ed in ware about

IOmm.

How TO OPERATE THE NEW MACHINE

Pl ease run the new machine in the first fo ur at 20% less speed than maximum. Then rep lace
the new oil and thereafter the mac hi ne may be operated up to maximum speed.

The thread tcnsioo be adjusted accordi ng to sewi ng fabric , thick ness, sewi ng thread, sea m
widt h stitch leng th etc. T herefore th e pressure of the Tension Nuts or T hread Guides must be
adjusted in each in divi du al case.
(1) Tension Nut Adjustment.Fig.5

The differential feed ratio is the rat io ofmovements betwecn Maio Feed Dog and Differential
Feed Dog, when the movement of Main Feed Dog is bigger than Differe ntial Feed Dog , the fabric
be stretched in sewing Otherwise the fabric be shrinked.
Loosen Nut CD hen turn Screw Q) in c10ckwisc for stretching thc fabric oand in rcverse dircction
for shrinking the fabric then tighte n Nut CD .
NOTE: When the surface of adjusting Level Q) be set at the scale Q) the differential feed ratio is 1: 1,
and ifit be set over the scale its rat io can be adjustab le up to 1:0.7.
