The person whom I admire most in history is Lady Diana,the princess of Wales.

I consider her
one of the most important people in the 20th century because of her charity work.Lady Di was
very popular and loved not only by the British people but by people all over the world
because she cared so much about the sick and poor people all over the world,being called The
Peoples Princess.
She was a very attractive woman, tall and slim with beautiful blue eyes and short fair hair,her
face lit up by a shy and tender smile.( fata ei fiind luminata de un zimbet timid si tandru)
She was a very elegant woman and her appearances were always stunning.
( extraordinare)Being a member of the British Royal family, the wife of Prince Charles, lady
Diana knew how to dress, always looking royally and yet not extravagant.( stia cum sa se
imbrace intotdeauna aratind loial)Most of the time she wore either dresses or skirts, designed
by famous by international designers such as Versace, Christian Lacroix, Ungaro and Chanel.
In one word she was very stylish and she became an icon( o icoana, un simbol) of the fashion
in the 20th century.
Yet, lady Diana remained in the history as that beautiful and elegant princess that devoted her
short life to helping the people in need.She travelled all around the world and helped those in
need, the homeless,( oameni fara casa) people living with AIDS( sida) and children in need.
I admire lady Diana for the way she lived her short life and her devotion to the people in need
despite her status of a princess(in ciuda statutului de printesa); although she was rich and
famous she was a reserved and shy person.(chiar daca era bogata si faimoasa ea a fost o
persoan rezervata si timida)
Unfortunately, her life ended tragically, in a car accident, but her life is a model for the
people all over the world.
Lady Diana in just three words: beauty,kindness and generosity.

The person who influenced my life is definetely( cu siguranta) my mother.Her character, the
way she cares for all of us, me , my father and my younger brother make her a model for me
to follow.( caracterul ei, felul cum are grija de noi fac din ea un model pe care sa il urmez)
If a had to describe her in three words ,i would say shes simply kind, beautiful and amazing
in everything she does.
My mother is in her forties, quite tall and a slim woman with beautiful brown eyes and dark
brown hair.I just love the way she wears her hair always permed and elegantly arranged.She
always dresses elegantly, in either skirts and dresses that really show her nice slim
complexion.When Im forty i want to look like her-simply beautiful and elegant.

What amazes me about her is her strength to do everything that has to be done.The daily
routine,work,housework can be so tiresome and overwhelming(coplesitoare),yet my mum
never loses the energy to do all the chores( lucruri zilnice care trebuie facute in casa si care
sunt neplacute uneori)and be there for us,listening to our problems ,comforting us, laughing
with us, she is simply amazing.Once I asked her where she takes all the power and,smiling
tenderly, she told me that she simply loves us.
My mother is a model for me and its so wonderful to know that there is a person that loves
me unconditionally, no matter what and for this i will always be indebted ( indatorata)to her.

A famous film star- Being Brooke Shields

The first time I saw Brooke Shields was in the movie The Blue Lagoon which I enjoyed so
much.The strange story told by the movie and the innocent and angel beauty of Brooke
Shields made me love this movie.
Brooke Shields, now in her forties, was very young in The Blue Lagoon, only 15 years
old.Over the years she changed her outlook like all the stars do, from the innocent girl to a
mature and elegant woman.Shes a very tall woman, 1.83 cm and slim, or even well built ,
with very beautiful green eyes that she really knows how to show them out.( sa-I scoata in
evidenta).She has always got a beautiful long hair wearing it permed with loose
curls( onduleuri usoare).Her colour has remained the same over the years-light brown.
After getting her start in the entertainment industry as a child model, Brooke Shields became
a fashion and entertainment icon.Since then she has proved to be a strong character and
decisive person who knows what she wants.She starred in many films but her success came
with the Blue Lagoon and, I believe she will remain in the mind of viewers with this movie in
which she is extraordinary.
I consider that it takes a lot of courage to make it( sa reusesti) the movie industry and Brooke
Shields has prooved over the years that she has all the qualities of a true film star.
