Lord
-

Ullin writes a letter in which he states :

terribly upset at the loss of
the wild storm overpowered her
I was helpless - cried - promised to forgive her - but all in vain
my false ego let me down
my haughtiness and shallow pride made me blind - failed to realize the intensity
of love she had for her lover
I was also very much harsh and hot tempered
my daughter knew this - she preferred death in the stormy sea to my anger
I always feel that I am the murderer of my daughter - the stigma will remain for
ever.
