BADMINTON CLUB OF KIRKBY INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE.


1.0 INTRODUCTION
Badminton tournament is one of the activities of Badminton Club as a preparation to
expose the members to the badmintons world. The competition is aimed at
developing new talent hidden among the trainees. In addition, the competition also
aims to produce badminton athletes among the members that meet the criteria of
world class badminton players such as Dato' Lee Chong Wei. In addition, the
trainees are in this competition to acquire knowledge in terms of playing technique,
rules and regulations and others. Moreover, the tournament can indirectly encourage
interest and sporting spirit in badminton.

2.0 DETAILS OF THE TOURNAMENT


3.1 A) Improve the skills in playing badminton
B) Provide opportunities for trainees to tap the latent talent
C) Strengthening relationships between trainees
D) Creating a sporting spirit in trainees
3.2 RATIONALE
Organized badminton is very closely related to GERKO which is to develop and
nurture the talents of KIC students by planning the appropriate activities according to
students abilities. Moreover, it also helps to build up the students activeness in
sports. All the knowledge, experience and skills gained can be applied in the next
organized held our confidence in all the activities.
3.3 The aim of the competition
The goal of this competition is to unearth new talent among the trainer and can be
brought to a higher level. In addition, the competition aims to develop and expand
the skills of trainees of Kirkby International College in badminton.

In conclusion, it is hoped that the tournament will be able to make up the identity of
the player. Experiences and lessons learned to advance the sport of badminton.
Hopefully this tournament will benefit all parties involved thus strengthen
relationships already established among the members.
