Please send your child with a water bottle every
day along with a healthy snack. No Gatorade,
juice, or soda

Thank you to everyone who came out to Open House
last week! We loved meeting everyone and we are so
excited about a new adventure in 3rd grade. If you
have not already sent in your childs school supplies
and paperwork from Open House, please do so as soon
as possible.
We will send a weekly newsletter at the beginning of
each week. Please make sure to read it carefully for
important information and announcements.

Students will have P.E. one day every week. Make sure
your child is dressed appropriately for gym class on
assigned day, every week.

Wildcat Essentials

Here are the Wildcat Essentials that your
teachers are looking for this month:
When responding to any adult you should answer
by saying Yes Ma'am or No Sir. Make eye
contact. When someone is speaking keep your
eyes on him or her at all times. Do not interrupt
when someone is speaking. Raise your hand in
class.

Homework

RAH Log (Read at Home)-Complete RAH log each


night Monday through Thursday, recommendation
is 15-20 minutes.
MAH (Math at Home)-Initial agenda, complete
math facts practice each night Monday through
Thursday, recommendation is 5-10 minutes math
facts practice. Students will take a timed math
facts test each day and must get all problems
correct in order to move on to the next set.
They will keep the timed test in their homework
notebook and will practice their facts. Practice
can be flashcards, copying and solving facts on
paper, calling problems aloud, etc. Even if
students pass the test each day, they should

still do some form of math facts practice
