Class Dojo Tracker Sheet
The Class Dojo Tracker Sheet has been changed to be
completed each Friday by the students. This new
sheet is not as time consuming as the daily sheet.
Your childs progress can still be seen daily on the
Class Dojo app.

This Week in School

Math- Addition with regrouping


Reading- Recount/retell stories and explain
how it is conveyed through key details in the
text Writing- Write stories using with a strong
introduction, details, correct sequential order,
and strong closing
Grammar: Identify proper nouns
Science: Magnets: Magnetic force, How we use
magnets in our day-to-day lives
Social Studies: Students will correctly label
the following on world and US maps:
-the equator and prime meridian as lines of
latitude and longitude
-the 2 US mountain ranges, Appalachian and
Rocky
-the 5 major rivers, Mississippi, Ohio, Rio
Grande, Colorado, and Hudson

Connections

Students will have P.E. one day every week. Make sure
your child is dressed appropriately for gym class on
assigned day, every week.

Snack Time - Friendly Reminder

every day along with a healthy snack. No

Homework

Written Assignments-all due by Friday


Math Math Sheet - one page of the skills
we are working on each week (Due Friday)
Spelling Homework will begin September 6th, a
sheet explaining ways to practice is in the
T.E.A.M. Binder. New words will be in the agenda
each Monday. Spelling tests will be given each
Friday.
RAH Log (Read at Home)-Complete RAH log each
night Monday through Thursday, recommendation is
15-20 minutes. Record the books read on RAH Log in
T.E.A.M. Binder.
MAH (Math at Home)-Initial agenda, complete math
facts practice each night Monday through Thursday,
recommendation is 5-10 minutes math facts practice.
Students will take a timed math facts test each day
and must get all problems correct in order to move on
to the next set. We will begin the timed math facts
tests next Monday, August 15th. They will keep the
timed test in their homework notebook and will
practice their facts nightly. There is a sheet located
in T.E.A.M. Binder that gives several ways for
students to practice.
