F ormer Internet phar-
macist, Andrew Strem-
pler, has lost his license
and right to practice in
Manitoba. Strempler, who
founded Minnedosa-
based Mediplan/ RxNorth,
has been charged with
professional misconduct
in selling counterfeit pre-
scription drugs to Ameri-
cans. The charges were
laid by the Manitoba Phar-
maceutical Association in
2009 after it was alleged
that Strempler had pre-
scribed drugs that were
not approved by Health
Canada out of the Baha-
mas, labelled them as if
they were of Canadian
origin, and sold them to
Americans.

finalized site plan to Town
Council Tuesday night
during Council’s Commit-
tee of the Whole meeting.
Following last sum-
mer’s decision to locate
MREC on the current Ag
Society fairgrounds in the
northwest corner of town,
the site selection commit-
tee has been working on
developing a plan to ac-
commodate the many user
groups involved. In addi-
tion to a two rink arena
and possible future hotel,
the grounds will also ac-
commodate local soccer
and baseball groups.
