BASICINFORMATION
Thisisaselectivenetwork.We,admins,takefullprivilegesinbeingabletohandpick
whoisandisnotacceptedintothisnetworkbasedonourowndesignatedandfixed
criteria.
A. MISSION
OurmissionistogatherasupportivecommunityoffansofBooSeungkwan,
KwonSoonyoung,andLeeSeokmin(henceforthreferencedinthisdocumentas
s3)oftheboygroupSeventeenfromPledisEntertainment.
B. ADMINISTRATIVEPRIVILEGES
Bycreatingthisnetwork,weassumefullresponsibilityofwhathappensunderthe
s3name.Wewilltakechargeofapplicationadmission,projectrunning,andother
socialactivitiesinthes3net.
C. NETWORKDISCLAIMERS
Anyissuesstemmingfromthes3netamongmembersand/ornonmembersare
notourresponsibility.Wearenotresponsibleforanyhateorcyberbullying
amongmembersUNLESSitdirectlyreferencesas3netorganizedactivity.If
suchrelationexists,wewilldoourbesttoassistinresolvingtheissuewith
affiliatedbloggers.
MEMBERSHIPANDADMISSION
Beingamemberisnotatitleinitself.Membersmustfulfilltheresponsibilityofbeinga
s3netparticipantbyremainingrespectfulandcourteousinInternetsocialetiquettewhen
beingactiveunderthes3netumbrella.
A. MEMBERSHIPEXPECTATIONS
1. Membersmustbeactivelysupportiveofatleasttheaforementionedthree
membersoftheboygroupSeventeen.Anyonedisplayingexplicitand
inappropriatehatredforanymemberofSeventeen(e.g.hateposts,
hatefulcomments,etc.)willbekickedout.Anymemberbeingoverly
intrusiveinthemembers'lives(e.g.savingandsharingprivatephotosnot
meantforthepublicorsupportingsasaengactivity)willbegivena
warningbeforebeingaskedtoleave.
B. MEMBERSHIPREQUIREMENTS
Allaspiringmembersarerequiredtosubmitthroughthesubmitboxonthe/apply
page.Thedecisioninacceptinganapplicantisusuallybasedon(1)timeof
submissionand(2)blogactivity.
1. Timeofsubmission
Tobefair,wewillconductapplicationprocessingonafirstcomefirst
servebasis.Thismeansthattheearlieranapplicantapplies,themore
likelyitisthattheywillbeaccepted.Beingthefirstapplicant,however,
doesnotguaranteeadmission.Seenumber2(blogactivity)for
explanation.

2. Blogactivity
Theblognameanapplicantappliesundermustbeactiveandcreative.
a) Anactiveblogisanyblogthatcontinuestopostorreblogatleast
onceweekly.Sideblogsareaccepted.Wewantcurrentfans,not
peoplewho"kindofsortof"supportSeventeen/s3.Anyblogswith
nosignofsupportfors3(i.e.therearenoSeventeenpostsatall
inaonemontharchiveblock)willlikelybedeclined.
b) Acreativeblogisonethatcreatesfanworkofseventeen.THIS
DOESNOTHAVETOBEFREQUENT.Wewishtomakethisa
criteriabecausewewantthenetworktobeasinteractiveas
possible.Beingamemberisnotjustpostingyournameona
memberspage.
c) NOTE:noncreativeblogscanbeacceptediftheblogactivitycan
overrideormakeupforthelackoforiginalfancreations.(Inother
words,ifyouhaveaseventeenonlyblogoryourblogactivity
showsenoughinterestofseventeenors3,thismaymakeupfor
yourlackoffanworks.
C. ADMISSION
Theadmissionofapplicantsonlyoccursiftheapplicantsatisfiestheabove
requirementstotheadmins'satisfaction.
1. AdmissionStatus
Therearethreestatesthattheadmissionboxcantake:OPEN,CLOSED,
andPENDING.
a) OPENSTATUSiswhenanyoneinthepubliccanapplyatany
time.Italsomeansthattheadminsaresimultaneouslyprocessing
applicationswhentheycan.
b) CLOSEDSTATUSiswhentheadmissionboxisclosedand
nobodycanapply.Thisdoesnot,however,meanthattheadmins
arenotprocessingtheapplicationsthatweresubmittedduringan
OPENorPENDINGstatus.
c) WhenthestatusisCLOSED,awaitlistfromtheprevious
applicationseasonwillbeopenedinitsstead,detailingthreeto
fiveapplicantswhowerealmostacceptedbutweredeclineddue
toeither(1)spaceavailabilityor(2)criteria.
(1) Wechoosetoacceptonlyafixednumberofapplicantsata
timeduringonegivenapplicationseason.Thisnumber
mayvaryforeachadmissionseasonandwillbedisplayed
alongsidetheapplicationstatuswhenavailable.
(2) Ifyouandyourblogseemmoreappealingtousasafuture
member,youaremorelikelytobeonthewaitlist.(See
section1.d.iiiformoreinformationaboutwaitlisted
applicants.)

d) PENDINGSTATUSmeansthatyes,theapplicationboxisopen,
buttheadminswillnotbeprocessingtheseapplicationsuntila
furtherdate(eitherwhentheapplicationstatusisOPENagain,or
onafixed,announceddatewhentheadmissionboxwillfinallybe
CLOSED).
2. Applicationprocessing
Theadmins,whenprocessingapplications,willdothefollowing:
a) Viewyourblog.
Wewillassessyourblogonarchive(toseeifyoureblogatleast
someseventeen),fanworks(toviewanyfanworks,ifexistent),
youractivitystatus(didyouonlyreblogthreepostsbackinJune?
Orareyoustillactiveuptoatleasttwoweeksago?),andyour
generalreputation(doyouposthatefulthings,etc.thisshouldnot
beanissueforanyone).
b) CheckwhetheryouhaverebloggedtheINTROpostornot(goto
/tagged/introtoseethepost).
c) Sendyouanask,whenwearriveatafinaldecision.Our
admissiondecisionwillbesentpublicly(notonanonymousmode)
toallfinalizedapplicants.Thisaskmustbeansweredinatleast
4872hours.Acceptedapplicantswillbegivenfinalinstructions
beforemembershipwaitlistedordeclinedapplicantswillbe
informed.
3. Waitlist
a) Whenthenumberofapplicantsinourinboxexceedsthenumber
ofopenmembershipslotsforthatspecificapplicationseason,
adminswillthenproceedto,afterdecidingupontheaccepted
applicants,gothroughthedeclinedpileto"fauxaccept"threeto
fivemoreapplicants.Thisprocessisconductedinentirelythe
samewayasregularadmissionsarehowever,the"accepted"few
applicantswillbeinsteadputonawaitlistwhichwillbepublicly
displayed.
b) Whentheapplicationstatusisoncemoreopeninthefollowing
applicationseason,thethreetofiveblogsonthewaitlistwillhave
priority.Adminswillprivatelycontacttheblogsonthewaitlistand
informthemofimmediateacceptanceasamember(ONLYIFthe
blogstillmeetsthecriteria).Waitlistedapplicantsmustreplyin
under48hoursorwillberemovedandforgottenfromthewaitlist.
NETWORKACTIVITY
A. POSTS
1. Theblog,thedomainofwhichishttp://s3net.tumblr.com,willreblog
fanworksofthes3trio(fromanyrelatedtagsonthepublictumblr
domain).Inaddition,thes3netplansonpromotingthethreemembersof
s3andmaypost(originally,asopposedtoreblog)official(translations,

repostsofofficialtweetsregardinganyorallofs3)materialaswellas
nonofficial(fanworks,fanfictionrecommendations)material.Theseposts
willbetaggedaccordinglyandwillbeaccessiblefromthe
sitemap/navigationpage.
2. Fanworksinclude(butarenotexclusiveto)gifs/gifsets,graphics,
fanfiction,fanart,fanpoetry,andcovers.
B. TAGGINGSYSTEM
1. ONLYMEMBERSmaytagtheiroriginals3relatedpostswith#s3net
(withinthefirstfivetags)toexpectareblogfromthes3netblog.
Nonmembersmaytag#s3netbutmaynotnecessarilybeendorsedby
s3net.
2. Memberswhotag#s3netinappropriately(e.g.onpoststhathavenothing
todowithasinglememberofs3,twoofs3,orallofs3)willbegivena
warningbeforefurtheractiontakesplace.
3. Nonmemberswhoutilizethe#s3nettagexcessivelyorinappropriately
willbeaskedtostopbeforebeingblocked(fromboththeadmins'tumblr
accountsaswellasfromapplyingformembershiptothenetwork)if
necessary.
C. ORGANIZEDPARTICIPATION
1. Wemayuseexchanges/partiestogatheracommunityamongboth
membersandnonmembers.Memberswillhavespecialprivileges
includingindirectblogpromotionsandthepostingoftheirfanworks.
