Discussion on the concept of soil conservation
and measures of soil conservation through
power point presentation and animated
videos by SIET - Kerala

Assessment
Consolidation of questions on the board. ( can
be used for assessment of learning)
Carousel Brainstorming - Teacher passes
sheets of chart with names of different soil
and water conservation measures. Student
groups complete the chart by adding pictures,
drawings, information or question about each
measure. (Number of charts should be same
as number of groups). Each group prepare a
summary of the contents recorded in the
chart.( assessment for learning)

Reflections

Extended activities : Field visit , Practise conservation measures in school in the recently
constructed play ground.
