Comparison of two characters

In this document I will compare two characters, one character of the book the lord of the
flies and another of the movie now you see me.
The book relate the story about some children that are lost in an island, so every child have
his position and their only mission is find a way to leave the island.
On the other hand the movie show the story but now about a magicians, they are four
magicians that have the mission to unmask a sequence of little fails that caused a death.
The character that I select from the book is Ralph and the character from the movie is
Alma Dray who is the French Interpol agent.
Now I am going to explain my reasons to select these characters. First, I chose at Ralph
because is a leader and a person who thinks a lot in the consequences about the acts
therefore he has conviction to manage the decisions in the group in addition he is a charity
person. Now Alma Dray is new investigation agent, she always was in the office and this
case is the first for her, however the mainly reason for my election is her persistence,
because her partner never want work with her and she never leave the case in spite of
manner by her partners and the ignorance about the case.
So, Now I am going to do the comparison between these characters according to my
opinion, for me the mainly reason to compare Ralph with Alma is their personality. In the
book Ralph is always the person with the best thinking about the problems and things to do,
while in the movie Alma is the only person with mind in the case and therefore she is
always the person with the best ideas.

The second reason is the position that they have about their environment. Ralph and Alma
are surrounded by people who thinks (in determinate moment) that they are incompetent
people and in spite of they continue been a helping people with the same people that dont

trust in them. For me this is an important quality because nowadays the people is resentful
and they forget the importance about be a good person in a society.
The last reason is how they are dupe. In the book Jack thinks that he will be a better leader
so, together with some children reorganize the leadership in the island, on the other hand
Dylan Rhodes believe in the story that Thaddeus tell him and Dylan confront Alma accuse
of betrayal, therefore Alma suffer dupe by his partner.
In conclusion I think this activity is good to practice writing and reading according to read
the book and see the movie with English subtitles or without it, in addition I like do this
exercises because is good option to practice the creativity and velocity to improve some
ideas to write or speak easier.
