New Delhi: Delhi Metro on


Tuesday announced a reduction of up to 50% in fares of
the Airport Express line.
The slashed fares will be applicable from Friday onwards. The reduction in
fares is expected to decongest the Metros Blue line, especially during peak hours.
As per the revised fare
structure applicable from
Friday, the minimum single
journey fare on the corridor will be Rs 10, replacing
the earlier fare of Rs 20. The
maximum fare will be Rs 60
against the earlier Rs 100.
A one-way journey from
the New Delhi station to
Dwarka Sector 21 using a
single journey token will
now cost only Rs 60, said the
Delhi Metro spokesman. The
detailed revised fare chart is
available on the Metro website, delhimetrorail.com.
