What is man?

According to science the definition of man is a bipedal primate

mammal (Homo sapiens) that is anatomically related to the great apes but
distinguished especially by notable development of the brain with a
resultant capacity for articulate speech and abstract reasoning, is usually
considered to form a variable number of freely interbreeding races, and is
the sole living representative of the hominid family; broadly: any living or
extinct hominid.
In my own view man is indeed the highest animal creation of God for he
gave us the ability to think, to feel, comprehend things and reason with
ourselves with these abilities our human nature will shaped our habits and
practices will built up, knowledge and wisdom will be formed as these will
become our truth and reality.
According to Heraclitus everything changes and nothing stands still
and change is called a pathway up and down, and that Change is the only
constant thing in this world. Changing oneself to become a better person
is difficult it does not happen overnight it takes a long time, a strong desire
and will is required in order to accomplish it this means that not only we
can understand our own reality but also capable of changing our ideals
and nature on what we what to be.
In the case of the Movie Rain man starred by Tom Cruise and Dustin
Hoffman the movie was about a car dealer Charlie Babbitt (Tom Cruise)
learns that his estranged father has died, he returns home to Cincinnati,
where he discovers that he has an autistic older brother named Raymond
(Dustin Hoffman) and that his father's $3 million fortune is being left to the
mental institution in which Raymond lives. Motivated by his father's
money, Charlie checks Raymond out of the facility in order to return with

him to Los Angeles. The brothers' cross-country trip ends up changing both
their lives. This movie describe Charlie Babbit as driven, workaholic and
lonely man who begins in the film as a materialist, a would-be Trump
without a line of credit and when he found out his inheritance was cut-off
he became angry and decided to use his autistic brother to obtain money
but gradually he became a little different and by the end of the film Charlie
has learned how to pay attention, how to listen and how to be at least a
little patient and have some time. He does not undergo a spiritual
transformation; he simply gets in touch with things that are more
important than selling cars.
This movie relates in to how a man changes his own outlook at life
and how he looked at everything instead of feeling angry and bitter about
life he decide to simply re-assess his perspective by accepting his own
brother and discover that there more things that is important than money.
This proves that change occurs when one decides to change himself and
that give him a chance to see the world in a different picture and that
change does not take place through an attempt by the individual or by
another person to change him, but it does take place if one takes the time
and effort to be what he is. It can also be said that change can be
influenced by Love in the movie the emotionally unreachable Raymond
becomes the catalyst for Charlies transformation from a self-absorbed
character incapable of intimacy into a caring and sympathetic adult this
shows that man is capable of transforming himself into a better person
because it is a human nature that we will always yearn to connect or love
other human beings.
In conclusion, man always seeks to improve himself not only in the
aspects of academic, wealth and positions but also a need for spiritual
growth especially to be connected with people and more importantly to
God and that transformation will become a long process for it takes time,

effort and willingness to accomplish a task such as becoming a better

person.
