After successfully completing this course, students will be able to:

Graduate with Electronics and Telecommunication Program will have
a. An ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering.
b. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data.
c. An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic
constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety,
manufacturability, and sustainability
e. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve Engineering problems.
h. The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global,

Course Assessment
Grading is based on the following components that are weighted as described below:
1. Home Assignments : 5 %
2. Surprise Test
: 3%
3. Attendance
:2%
4. Mid Sem. Exam-1 : 15%
5. Mid Sem. Exam-2 : 15%
6. End Sem. Exam. : 60%
Home Assignments:
Home Assignments will be given. The general policy is that home Assignment is to be submitted in
the office of Course Teacher within 7 days from the date of assignment given.
Extensions in submission of assignments are granted in advance and under special circumstances.

Examinations
There will be 2 scheduled exams and at least one Open Book Test as detailed below. The schedule of
these examinations is given in the Academic Calendar for the session published by the Dean
(Academic Matters)
1. Mid Sem. Exam-1 : On the basis of Units 1 & 2.
2. Mid Sem. Exam-1 : On the basis of Unit 3 & 4.
3. End Sem. Exam : On the basis of Units 1 to 6 of the syllabus.
4. Open Book Test : On the topics taught till the day of examinations.
Attendance
All students who maintain classroom attendance in theory and tutorial at more than 75 % will be
eligible for the MSE 1 & 2 and ESE.
