COURSE DESCRIPTION
Introduce the student to the theory, techniques, and application of Communications Systems.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To develop a fundamental understanding of what Analog and Digital Communication systems &components are.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES


At completing this module the student should be able to:
1 To develop a fundamental understanding of what Communication systems &components are.

2 To understand the signals and systems and be able to classify the signals.
3 To understand the Spectral Density and Correlations and Energy&Power Spectral density
4 Be able to use basic trigonometric equations and Fourier analysis to design and analyze analog

5 Recognize different kinds of Analog and Digital modulation
6 To distinguish between different types of amplitude modulation systems: double-sideband
suppressed carrier, conventional amplitude modulation, and single-sideband.

Attendance and participation are extremely important, and the usual University rules will apply.
