Soulard Market Park Arts & Crafts Fair, RULES & TERMS

1. Soulard Market Park Arts & Crafts Fair fee is $50 per market date. If you apply and are approved for all
three dates the last date is discounted to $30 . Soulard Market Park Arts & Crafts Fair will take place
May 15, June 19 and July 17 at the Soulard Market Park, located at 9th and Lafayette, St Louis,
MO, 63157.
2. Refunds will NOT be issued for cancelation.
3. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
4. Artist hereby agrees to abide by all Rules and Terms stated in this contract. . Acceptance of this contract
binds Artist to the amount of fair fee as set forth above. Artist understands and agrees that the coordinators
of the Soulard Market Park Arts & Crafts Fair reserves the right to reject any and all applications for entry
regardless of cause.
5. Every artist will be sent a map prior to the shows of your 12x12 location. Artists are to provide their
own tents, tables and displays. Set-up begins at 7 am the date of each fair and must be completed by 9 am.
You may park your vehicle along the perimeter of the park while loading and unloading. We ask that you
park on streets not surrounding the park to leave room for customers and fair goers. Tear down to begin at
close of the fair at 3 pm and completed by 4 pm. Please make sure everything you brought in with you
leaves with you.
6. Soulard Market Park Arts & Crafts Fair hours are from 9 am to 3 pm each fair date. These hours will
be advertised and must be followed. All tents and tables must remain set-up and manned during market
hours. Artists are not permitted to pack up or depart before closing time. If an emergency should arise we
ask that you speak with a fair coordinator.
8. All items must be handmade by the artist on the application. All items listed on application are eligible
for the fair, unless rejected before the fair date. Artist may be asked to remove an item(s) if item(s) is not
listed in application description. A fair coordinator reserves the right to request the removal of any artist or
item if considered objectionable or if there has been an infringement of the rules.
9. Food and drinks are not permitted to be sold. Members of the Soulard Business Association will be
selling food and drinks during fair hours.
10.We encourage all of the artists to help promote the event. Flyers will be available at Paste. Electronic
advertising will be emailed to each artist that is accepted.
11. All sales go to the artist. Each artist is responsible for collecting and filing Missouri Sales Tax. You
must provide your own means of collecting your sales. If you desire to accept credit or debit cards you
must provide your own set up.
12. Each artist must assume responsibility for the security of their work, display materials and personal
belongings. Soulard Market Park Arts & Crafts Fair, Paste and The Soulard Business Association are not
responsible for the loss or damage of items.
13. Soulard Market Park Arts & Crafts Fair expects all persons to conduct themselves professionally and
appropriately. Anyone acting in an offensive or undesirable manner will be asked to leave by fair
coordinators.
14. In the event of cancellation of the fair, due to fire, acts of God, government regulations or any other
cause beyond control, Paste shall determine an reasonable basis for the refund of such portion of any fair
fee as is possible, after consideration of expenses and commitments already made. Fees are not refundable
for any other reason. Paste, The Soulard Business Association, nor the Soulard Market Park shall be liable
for any damages incurred by artist by reason of such cancellation.
15. Refunds will not be issued for poor weather conditions. The fair will go on rain or shine.
