JEE Main Application Form 2016

The JEE Main Application Form 2016 will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of
November, 2015. The Application Form will be available only in the online mode and no other mode.

The JEE Main Application Form 2016 has to be filled by following the steps given below:
JEE Main 2016 Registration:
To apply for JEE Main 2016, candidates need to register first.
They need to follow below mentioned three simple steps to apply onlineStep 1: Fill the application form
Step 2: Upload scanned images
Step 3: Pay examination fees

To fill JEE Main Application Form 2016, candidates have to first register by creating a password. The
password must be between 8 and 13 characters, and it must contain a capital letter, a small case
letter, a special character and a number.
In the application form, candidates need to provide following details1.Exam Related Details
2.Personal Details
3.Academic Details
4.Mailing Address Details
5.Guardian Details
6.Password
7.Security Pin
After submitting the application form, the generated application number must be noted down as
candidates will have to use it as log in ID along with the chosen password.
The name in application form must be the same as registered in class XII/qualifying examination.
Confirmation page or any other documents should not be sent to JEE Main office.
Candidates must keep an email id and a valid mobile number ready. Also, they must keep the
scanned copies of passport size colour photograph, signature and left thumb impression in JPEG
format ready for uploading.
Specifications for uploading scanned images:
The scanned images of photograph, Signature and thumb impression should be in jpeg format only.

How to pay JEE Main Application Fees 2016?


1. Credit Card (additional charges: 1.20% of the examination fee plus the service tax as applicable)
OR
2. Debit Card (additional charges: 0.75% of the examination fee plus taxes for examination fee up to
Rs. 2000 and 1% + taxes for examination fee more than Rs. 2000. )
OR
3. Through e-Challan generated after successful submission of the online application form.

Candidates can deposit application fee in cash at any branch of Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank,
HDFC and ICICI Bank
Important: Candidates must check all details carefully before payment. Once payment of the JEE
Main 2016 Fees is done, changes cannot be made.
Important Things to Remember:
Candidates must download the generated acknowledgement receipt (after successful submission of
application form) and keep it safe.
They must keep a copy of DD or transaction details if fee is paid online.
Candidates must keep with them 8-10 identical photographs for future use till admissions. These
photographs must be the same as ones that have been used in JEE Main 2016 Application Form.

JEE Main is first stage examination for admissions to prestigious IITs (Indian Institute of Technology)
and ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad.
Last year, over 13 lakh candidates appeared for this national level exam for admissions to 31 NITs,
18 IIITs and 18 GFTIs. Top 1.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE
Advanced, which is the second stage of entrance test for admissions to IITs and ISM.
